Works very well - smooths texture and lines without being greasy. A little goes a long way.

Review for Natasha Denona Lila Eyeshadow Palette - 8 months, 2 weeks ago

I thought I might
like the Lila palette and its gorgeous jewel tones more than Tropic palette, but
I didn't. Lila's shadows are all pretty dark and tend to get muddy if
you're not careful. I find I have to mix in lighter transition shades
from other palettes when I use Lila. Lila's (older) formula is more crumbly,
too, which doesn't help.

The color payoff is good and the shadows are easy to blend, but I prefer the tighter formula and more versatile colors of the Tropic palette.

Review for: 1N2 Ecru more...
I normally use the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation in B20. I'm normally the lightest (or second-lightest) neutral shade in any line. I enjoy a light, water-based foundation.

I'd heard a lot about the full-coverage Double Wear foundation and was curious, but feared it would be too much for me. When I learned about the Nude Water Fresh foundation, I thought it sounded like my style and gave it a try. I chose the 1N2 Ecru shade, which was recommended to me based on my Chanel shade, and it seemed to match perfectly. With my La Prairie transluscent powder and Hoola bronzer, it seemed to look and wear almost identically to my Vitalumiere Aqua foundation. It blends easily, doesn't look cakey, and nothing I applied over it seemed to catch or chunk up over it.

It is, however, VERY thin in consistency, a true liquid no matter how much you shake it. The Chanel is quite a bit thicker. I'm not put off by the consistency, but if you apply foundation with a sponge you may be incredibly frustrated (absorption). I use my fingers with light foundations, and this one went on super-easily with this method.

I really like this foundation and will use it often!

Review for Natasha Denona Tropic Eyeshadow Palette - 8 months, 2 weeks ago

Versatile, beautiful palette. Colors apply easily and blend well. There's not a lot of fallout and the shadows are not crumbly at all. There are bright pops of color plus transition and highlight shades that work well together, and they're all stunning. Love the variety of finishes. This is a palette that you can throw in your travel bag and not worry about bringing additional shadows.

I thought I might like the Lila palette and its gorgeous jewel tones more than Tropic, but I didn't. Lila's shadows are all pretty dark and tend to get muddy if you're not careful. Review for Clairol Root Touch-Up Concealing Powder - 10 months, 4 weeks ago
I was instantly interested in the product as soon as I heard I was going to get to test it, but I wasn't sure what it would be like. Color match and coverage are obvious concerns, but what about consistency? Flaking? Color transfer? Would it be too waxy/heavy, or too fluffy, like colored dry shampoo? In the end, the Clairol Root Touch-Up strikes a happy medium.

As my hair is dyed black, I chose the darkest option. It's a great match for any darkest black shade. It covers my dark brown roots AND my silver streaks, no problem. It can also be used to fill in sparse areas on my temple (I've always had a high forehead), and looks perfect.

It's not sticky or waxy, but it's not super-powdery, either. There is no incidental transfer - a light touch won't result in product all over your hands, and there was no transfer onto my light pillowcase at night (like you'll see with tinted dry shampoo). You will, however, get it under your nails if you scratch your head, so be careful.

The packaging is sleek and portable. It's got the look of a brow powder compact and comes with a brush. The brush is good for most application areas, but you'll want to use an angled brush for brows or "fill ins" in sparsely-haired areas that will involve skin contact. At first, I was skeptical about the claim that the product can be used as a brow powder. We all learn that the "rule" for choosing brow products is to go a shade or two lighter than your hair color, but TBH, this product is diffuse enough to work fine on brows without looking too dark or stark. And if you're someone who changes up your shade fairly often, you might collect two or three colors and mix/match to get just the right intensity.

Overall, great product. Would totally purchase on my own.
Good quality ingredients, but my kitty isn’t particularly interested in it so far. Small size bits probably make it easier for very young cats to eat. Retail price isn’t cheap. Might try different flavors to see if my cat is more enticed.

A nice, medium-weight moisturizer. Works well with the peel set, but wasn’t make or break. The peel set can stand on its own, used with other moisturizers. Didn’t notice much difference.

Nice full-coverage foundation. I like a sheerer foundation normally, but this wasn't hard to work with. Damp beauty blender did the trick. Make sure you exfoliate and moisturize, though, as this stuff clings to skin flakes.

Color descriptions helped me pick a make a good color match.

Review for Duncan Hines Perfect Size For 1 Cinnamon Coffee Cake - 1 year, 8 months ago
I was actually shocked at how easy and fast it is to make this product. Flavor is good, tastes just like a homemade coffee cake. The texture is fine, like a nice bread pudding. Not sure how the price works out, but for someone like me who doesn't like to cook and lives by myself, the ease and speed of preparation is A+. Influenster provided me with a free sample to review.
