I have mixed feelings about Curology. It in the beginning, it worked quite well for me and I saw nice results. However, my formula was changed, and my provider didn't really listen to my concerns about the side effects. (No increased results, just strangely oily skin). I narrowed it down to one ingredient, zinc, which causes the issue. However, Curology is only set up to provide a certain set of three ingredients, and my other two ingredients aren't available at the current percentage without zinc. I find myself not reaching for the bottle, as it doesn't have any positive impact on my skin with the current ingredients. I'm also not a fan of the recent price increase, so I've put my subscription on hold for three months to decide if it's worth keeping.
A good basic BHA. For the price, it can't be beat. It's a little harsher/drying than some BHA's on the market, but if you slowly build up usage over time, it works quite nicely. Definitely do not follow the directions on the box to use multiple times a day, that's just insane.
I absolutely love this moisturizer! It's thick enough to moisturize deeply, but not so thick that 8t just sits on your skin. I also find that it relieves any irritation and takes away redness from my skin.
This is the first high-end eye shadow palette that I've purchased, and wow, am I glad I did. These eye shadows are so easy to blend, and the texture of them is so nice. I tend to have dry patches on my eyelids, which some eye shadows emphasize. Not this palette. The shadows somehow manage to smooth out the texture. The colors in the palette also make it easy to create multiple looks. I use the mattes for work, I use the shimmers for nights out, I take the entire palette with me for travel. It's just great. Whether you're a makeup pro, or just starting out, I recommend this palette!
Let me start of by saying that I wanted to love this so badly. When I purchased it, my skin was on the drier side so I thought a foundation like this would be nice. I bought it in Fair-Light Neutral, which is literally the best color match I've ever found in a foundation.
The first time I applied this, it looked great, at first that is. Even when set heavily with a powder, this foundation started to break up on my skin within a few hours.
I tried it again with different primers, thinking maybe I could extend the wear time. Unfortunately, I never found a primer that this foundation plays nice with. I've only removed my makeup and started from scratch a few times, and all of those were when I applied this foundation.
Needless to say, I won't be repurchasing this foundation, even though I long for that great of a color match again.
If you're looking for a long wear foundation, this is it. I have combo skin, and this sits beautifully all day in my t-zone. Unfortunately, it tends to look a bit heavy and emphasize pores on my cheeks.
I've found that this is a great product to mix in with other foundations though. If mixed in with a lighter foundation, it extends the wear without looking quite as heavy.
I haven't tried the Double Wear Light yet, but that'll be next on my list after I knock down a few other foundations. Hopefully it'll keep the long wear aspect of this formula, but sit a little nicer on the skin.
