Got this in an ipsy offer box and used it for a little treat yourself night. It's super easy to apply but my one complaint is that it really is not cut well! Moreso than other masks the holes for mouth nose and face were awkwardly cut and meant I had to scrunch it up to go where it was supposed to. It dripped everywhere but hey, moisture! I definitely felt that firm, cool sensation that you get after a face mask works. Overall it was a fun time but I wish the mask hadn't been so awkward! It kept flopping off my face.
Review for: Solstice, Cosmic, Space Cowboy more...
I ADORE moondust eye shadows. They are by far my favorite glitter eyeshadows and a staple in my everyday makeup ... yeah, I know it's super extra to wear glitter everyday, but YOLO.
I'm reviewing the three varieties I use most in order of use.
Space Cowboy: First, I freaking love all of UD's 'cowboy' eyeshadows. I have Space Cowboy, Midnight Cowboy, and Midnight Cowgirl. Second, I get more compliments on this eyeshadow than any other color I own. I'm very fair (wear U.D Naked 0.5 most of the year) and this is only a little darker than my skin unless I pile it on. It adds a nice ethereal look and as crazy as it sounds I use it as a base color sometimes. It's super duper glittery though like all the moondust colors. If glitter isn't your thing but you like the color I'd recommend the cowboy colors from their standard line.
Cosmic: This is bright white and looks like powdered unicorn cocaine. Seriously the most glittery thing I have ever put on my face, or at least the glitter pops the most - this shadow looks like pure white glitter on. I put it on a darker skinned person and there was more depth to it visible since the white color popped more. On said person I saw pinky undertones that were super pretty. I like using it to make other colors pop.
Solstice: I freaking love this color SO MUCH. It has a complex mixture of several colors and looks very spacey/chrome-y/almost holographic. I gave it to a good friend because it suited her better but if you swatch it you'll probably be mesmerized too.
This was my go-to mascara for ages! The applicator/brush is absurdly large but that's to be expected given the name. It gave me long, defined lashes that were not subtle but looked great! My only complaint is the mascara seemed to dry out a little faster than other mascaras I own, but maybe I have a dud or did something to cause it to dry out. I really need to buy another!
This is my go to conditioner for my crazy curly hair! It is one of the few conditioners that are affordably priced that are sulfate free and make my hair feel soft. The smell isn't incredibly heavy but people still notice it - it smells great but is so identifiable that multiple people have been able to guess the brand of conditioner I use just by standing close by.
I have a veritable mane of curly hair and use a lot of conditioner. This is one of the few conditioners where my hair doesn't need a literal handful of conditioner to feel soft. It smells nice, too. I have replaced it with Aussie Moist since Moist is usually cheaper, but would use this more if that were reversed.
Stayed here in Georgia and Florida with friend on said friend's rewards card and everything was relaxing, quiet, and clean. I lost my toothbrush and the front desk gave me one for free. The breakfast is standard continental fare with a variety of options - yogurt, fruit, make your own waffles, cereal, bagels, eggs, ect. Pricey but you see the money being spent so to speak.
My go to foundation, but if my skin's having a finicky day this can look cakey or too thick. There's a lot of choice with how thick you want this to be on your face , though - a little can go a long way but it builds well too.
I'm a smudgy sweaty mess during summer and even during winter and this helps a lot with keeping my makeup from looking like a hot mess. It sprays on easily and lasts a few months if you don't use it every single day (but you'll want to...)
This stuff is amazing! I love all of IT's concealer offerings. I'm very pale with bad under eye circles and this is by far one of the top products I've used to prevent it. This and BECCA 's undereye offering are about tied, but this is less sticky and easier to apply.
