Review for FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation - 6 days, 10 hours ago
Review for: 210, 190
Ugh, I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT THIS FOUNDATION. I initially recieved a deluxe sized sample of 210 in my sephora order but when I found out that you have to wait for the foundation to dry down to reveal its true color, I saw that 210 was 3/4 (yes, I'm being super technical here 'cause the difference is minimal but noticeable) darker than my actual skin and was a bit too peachy. So, I went in store to swatch and try on 190 and it was my perfect match and perfect description for my skin tone (light to medium w/neutral undertones). HOWEVER, the longevity of this on my combo skin was weird... I have minimal texture yet it really emphasized it. Also, the tip of my nose (which is a problem area of mine with most foundations/concealers) looked cracked and separated yet cakey. The foundation also did not do well underneath my glasses pads; it completely wiped off. I'd say after about 6-7 hours in, the foundation was slip-sliding around on my face, especially around my nose, but I wasn't oily... YET I STILL LOOKED AS FLAWLESS AS WHEN I FIRST PUT IT ON. I don't know if this foundation is meant for combination skin.

Review for FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Match Stix Matte Skinstick - 6 days, 10 hours ago
Review for: Bamboo
As soon as this line launched I got my hands on whatever I could and I felt like I couldn't go completely wrong since the shade range even in these match stix are superb! Bamboo, which is described to be a light to medium with subtle peach undertones, matches my skin almost exactly (I have completely neutral undertones). I will say that this as a concealer does not provide that much coverage, at most it's medium coverage, but I prefer that. One top of that, it looks super natural on the skin and really seamless to blend. One con though is that you have to apply a bit more pressure to swipe the product on. Other than that, I love it and the fact that it's cruelty free and reasonably priced for the amount of product you get, yes!

Review for tarte Swamp Queen Eye & Cheek Palette with Brush - 1 month, 4 weeks ago

As soon as this palette was available on Sephora's website, I snagged it (I love Bunny and just wanted to support her). This palette, to my surprise, is actually overall pretty glittery/shimmery; there are only 3 matte shades (eyeshadows). All of the shades are fairly pigmented, however the darker shades and the bronzer were patchy/slightly tougher to blend on my skin. Since the palette is pretty glittery, there is a fair amount of fallout, especially with the highlighter (there are actual bigger silver glitter particles); there is also powder kickback. The number of looks you can create with this palette is limiting but for those who don't wander too far off with their looks, this palette is perfect for them. I also love the HUGE mirror is comes with and the inspiring quote. The brush it comes with is fairly decent but is just a packing brush (to pack on those shimmers). I like the palette and use it fairly often.

Review for tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush - 1 month, 4 weeks ago
Review for: Flush, Dollface, Sensual
Tarte's Amazonian blushes are one of the best I've ever tried. The shade range they offer is amazing as well and finger swatches do not do them justice; just have to apply them with a brush. They are pretty pricey for a blush, but just how often do you go through a whole pan of blush? Only gripe... they aren't talc free, but I'm not super worried since they do not produce any type of powder kickback for me to inhale. These blushes are definitely worth the splurge and Tarte is cruelty free :)

Review for: Angel Food Cake, Tiramisu
I'm usually not a fan of glosses but for some odd reason, on a whim I bought two of these and after wearing both of them for a couple of days, I now remember why I hate glosses: the stickiness and more likely than not they contain mineral oil/petrochemicals. On my lips, mineral oil/petrochemicals actually dry them out and make them feel gross. So the stickiness on top of the dry, peeling grossness was a huge no-no for me.

Review for: Patina (Dusty Rose)
I bought the shade patina not knowing that colourpop's clueless is actually an exact dupe for it (at least on my lips/skin tone). The consistency of the product is more whipped than liquidity, making me think it would be more comfortable than it's dupe. However, it never really dried down and remained SUPER tacky on my lips, crumbled on the inner portion of my lips, and smudged around my lip line. The crumbling and smudging happened probably 3-4 hours after wearing... definitely not living up to it's name "stay all day." I want to just believe i got a dud 'cause I never tried another stila liquid lip after that (I returned patina since I had the dupe and liked it better).

Review for Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits - 1 month, 4 weeks ago
Review for: Gleam
Let me start off by saying that these highlighters really are stunning and some are more blinding than others but overall stunning. Also, I love the fact that within these ABH kits there's always a shade for all skin tones. With that said, I actually do not have my glow kit in my collection anymore simply because I find that there are plenty of dupable/cheaper alternatives to shades in the kit and I only found myself using one shade out of the four... so i gave mine away to a more grateful owner who would utilize ALL the shades. Also, the price point/value of these kits are a total steal and def worth it, IF YOU ACTUALLY USE ALL THE SHADES. ABH, overall, 9 times out of 10 makes gorgeous highlighters that are cruelty free as well :D

Just as described, a truly multi-tasking product that is gentle enough to use as such! I mainly use it as a face cleanser when I'm traveling and it works wonders to taking off my makeup (i do double cleanse though) and washing my hair! What's even better is that a little goes a long way. I love the fact that the ingredients are all naturals and do not irritate my super sensitive skin. However, I did take one star of because of the price. I do understand that with natural and better ingredients,it would be more expensive but if you were to use it for cleansing not only your face but whole body and hair then it can get pretty pricey. Regardless, this product is bomb! Plus One Love Organics is cruelty free <3

I love derma e products but this one... no thank you! This is advertised to help clear up acne, yet i ended up getting even more acne! I was extremely irritated by a few of the ingredients listed that I slipped my mind to read: lavender and rosewood. My face was just super irritated every time I cleaned it and it was just a gross feeling... love derma e but this product was RETURNED.

Review for Derma E Purifying Gel Cleanser - 2 months ago
I'm starting to think that this is actually my new HG cleanser as it removes all the grime off my face and actually helps clear whatever acne I have. It also helps balance my skin and makes me feel refreshed like a cleanser should. Do note that this cleanser is NOT meant to take off waterproof/long-lasting makeup, if you want to remove your makeup completely then you have to use a separate makeup remover (which I personally do not mind). The value of it is decent 6 fl oz for around $12-15. Now what I especially love are the ingredients and how natural they are and how they DON'T irritate my skin or break me out! Derma e is also cruelty free!
