I'm a college student balancing my time between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. I thrive to live a balanced life, and I love anything beauty and health related. I'm vegetarian and spend a lot of time coming up with delicious recipes that accommodate my diet!
I definitely swear by the quality of Burt's Bees lip products. I'm loving the new smaller sticks for the tinted lip balms because they are so much better at applying color onto the crevices of your lip. This shade particularly gives off a beautiful my-lips-but-better tint. It is definitely a berry toned tint and is perfect for giving your lips a moisturizing, healthy flush.
This has got to be my favorite everyday palette. Not only do these shadows made with a cocoa power formula smell deliciously like chocolate, the rich warm tones are absolutely indulgent. This palette gives you the flexibility to do both soft natural looks as well as intense smokey eyes. There are a combination of 16 matte, satin, and shimmery shadows which gives you the versatility of creating any look you want. Too Faced really hit the jackpot by putting the two highlight colors in bigger pans—they KNOW that's what we reach for the most. Salted caramel is also the perfect transition color. If you want a high quality shadow palette that you can get crazy use out of, this is it!
Elf has always hit home when it comes to their affordable pricing, and this lipstick is definitely a bang for your buck. The stick itself is very firm, but the formula still glides on very smoothly. I prefer the nude colors, as they provide very full coverage of the lips compared to other cheaper lipsticks that oftentimes go on sheer. The colors are very buildable, and the lipstick doesn't cling onto any flaking skin on your lips. There is a semi-matte finish. I do think that the lipstick wears more comfortably in conjunction with a Chapstick. They can be a little bit drying after a few hours, but they definitely don't emphasize the dry texture of your lips.
You really can't go wrong with this gentle, non-abrasive cleanser for your daily cleansing routine. This mostly scent less cleanser has a watery cream-like consistency that leaves my skin feeling super soft. Does a great job in removing face makeup as well.
This is hands down my favorite flavor of lays, and it's so unfortunate that I can't seem to find these at too many grocery stores here in the United States (although they always seem to be fully stocked in Canada). While the tangy flavor of ketchup balances out the spicy flavor, you definitely need a cup of water to accommodate these snacks.
These are my favorite chips to accompany any deli sandwich. Kettle cooked chips in general just produce so much more of a crunch compared to other chips, but this flavor in particular stands out as the perfect combination of sweet and savory.
Starbursts are so amazingly juicy as you chew them, and each candy really does last quite awhile. I like to buy these more for gatherings than for myself because I tend to only like the pink and orange ones, letting any friends snack on the Reds and yellows.
The only thing I ever really purchase from Sally Hansen are base and top coats, because I don't really like their formula and brushes for actual nail polish. For the cost of these top coats though, they really are my holy grail. These make polishes that would normally chip within 3 days last for two weeks. Plus, I like to make sure my nails have that extra layer of shine, and these definitely do the job!
I got this polish at Walgreens when it was on sale for only $0.99, and I am absolutely blown away by how pretty this is over any base color. This polish dries amazingly fast, usually within a minute, all the glitter would have set and I would be free to do whatever I want. Even better, this polish usually lasts me around 10 days before chipping, even when I don't apply a top coat. All of this for under a dollar? I definitely need to go purchase more colors!
