Hello! I'm 61 yrs. old going on 25 yrs. old, going on 15 yrs. old, depending on which one of my nieces or grandchildren you ask. As for me, I'm certain I'll b 26 on my next birthday. I'm married 40 years, (yay!) to the most wonderful and handsome man ever born, (sorry ladies, I saw him first). We met, fell in love and married 8 months later. He's still my biggest crush! I'm a writer, editor with a B.A. in Creative Writing and not sorry I didn't get a "more useful degree". I'm a Mom of 2 grown-ups; a daughter (gorgeous) with a Ph.D. in Ed. Philosophy, married to a most charming man and Mom to three pieces of my heart, 3 beautiful boys. Our son (handsome) an M&A attorney, married to the busiest Mom on the planet and Daddy to 3 more pieces of my heart, our ONLY princess granddaughter (who aspires to be a beauty vlogger and a scientist) and 2 adorable boys. I am a daughter of God, baptized, raised a Roman Catholic and received my education in Roman Catholic schools with no regrets. Surprise, not all Roman Catholics are conservatives, there are some very fine liberals among us, including the hubs and me.
I'm a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and sister-in-law. That covers all of those bases.
I am a beauty consumer (at times maybe too much) and a voracious reader of all things related to makeup and skincare! On a weekly basis, I either talk, text or trade emails about beauty, makeup and beauty tips weekly with my 3 adult nieces, 3 sisters and my 82-year-old, blow me away gorgeous, Mother.
If anyone tells me or any piece is written about appropriate makeup and clothing for a 60-year-old woman, I shut them down or delete the article. My constant reminder to my perfect hair stylist is: "don't you dare make me look like a PTA mom"...she loves it!
I'm 5'2", consume lots of calcium, careful sunshine and Vitamin D to keep my height or lack thereof and 105 lbs. I would like to gain 10-15 pounds, (listen, younger ladies) as a woman adds years, low body weight is NOT your face, neck, hips, boobs or butt's friend, BELIEVE me.
H-mmm, I think I must be forgetting something...oh well!
