I spend my free time learning about makeup and watching videos and spending money I don’t have at Sephora and Ulta. I love junk food and eating all the time. And I’m super into sensory products for kids because of my job. 😇
I love this highlighter! The shade is perfect, I've basically used it everyday since I bought it and it lasts forever. A little product goes a long way which I'm still trying to learn but it has a very shimmery finish. I would definitely buy this product again.
While I really like the formula of the product, I am disappointed that the shade I need doesn't seem to exist. I am pale with pink undertones and on the lighter end of their shades for pale people like me, there are lots of yellow undertones and not any pink light undertones. However, I am able to blend the product out well and with different setting powders it doesn't look as yellow. The product is very creamy and blends well and is pretty pigmented so you don't need a lot.
I do really like this product because it helps my makeup stay in place. However, the consistency is very strange and when being applied to your face, if not applied correctly, it will appear very streaky and blotchy. I use a buffer brush now to apply the product and buff it into my skin. I don't feel that my pores are noticeably smaller when I use this product and to get the product out of the tube it comes in, is a struggle when you begin running low on product because the tackiness of the product and it's formula.....I can't quite explain in words the texture but it's very congealed and is a solid rather than liquid so transferring the make up from the tube to your face, product can get lost. Not my favorite but it gets the job done.
I really enjoy using this primer. It's incredibly soft and feels silky, but the application can be iffy if you don't have a proper tool to buff it in such as a buffer brush or a beauty sponge. It will be streaky and then your foundation and other makeup will look streaky if not applied correctly. I have an oily t-zone and I found this product worked well to keep my makeup in place, however, I like other primers I've tried more due to the extra work of buffing in the product.
I was skeptical about using an oil/serum as my primer due to having oily skin in my t-zone. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that after setting my t-zone with setting powder and spray, before and after applying moisturizer and primer (which I do with any primer), my makeup stayed in place all day. I also definitely felt the product going into my skin and not sitting on top like a regular silicone primer. Plus, it smells like marshmallow fluff.
I LOVE THIS PRIMER! First of all, there's freaking gold flecks in it to make you feel fancy and bougie af. Second, it smells amazing. Third, the product doesn't just sit on top of your skin. I can definitely feel the product going into my skin to prep my face and then my face feels incredibly smooth. I have an oily T-zone and after setting my t-zone with setting powder and spray before and after applying the primer, I find that this product can be used on all skin types, which I was hesitant about because I didn't think after a full work day my t-zone would still have my foundation in tact. But alas, it did. The only downfall is the price of this product.
I didn't get this shade, I got "fire dancer" which is a deep maroon red. What I really appreciate about this product is that you get a lot of pigment with a very light feeling on your lips. It's not as drying as a liquid lippie but it's also not moisturizing. I use this when I want lip color but want to give my lips a break from the drying out of liquid lipsticks. The color does stay put a long time. Definitely something I'll consider in more shades.
I love this shade! It's the perfect nude for me-I'm very pale with pink undertones, so finding the right nude can be challenging because I don't want to look dead because my lips match my skin. I also don't want a nude that's too brown, and this shade worked perfectly. As far as the formula, it's super creamy upon application, but like a typical matte, becomes dryer and will dry your lips out if you don't moisturize and exfoliate them as much as you wear a liquid lip. Bonus points to Kylie for her lipsticks because they smell like vanilla frosting!
I love this product to help create a fuller brow. Mine are already pretty thick, but I use the ABH Brow Definer to create the shape of my brow, then fill it in with the pomade. I fill it in from the back to the front and use more product towards the back and blend it out with their either #14 or #12 duo brush with the spoolie end. I finish my brows off by going back in with the Brow Definer to create hair like strokes in the front of my brows. My only issue with this product is that after a few months, the product begins to dry out (probably because it's expired or soon to be). If you're like me and don't really care too much about the expiration date, you can add your favorite facial oil to the product ( a small amount, I used one drop, maybe two small drops, of the tarte maracuja oil). I found that not only does it make the product thinner after drying it out, it is easier to blend without being too greasy that it moves around. My go-to for brows, always.
