The first, most important thing to know about me is to know that I absolutely LOVE a good lipstick 💄 I have an entirely insane collection of them, and I honestly get so excited about a new lipstick - which is why I was really amped up for trying these lipsticks. The color variety is absolutely to die for and I love, love, love the fact that this is a prestige lipstick and it’s super affordable.
However, I haven’t had the best experiences with these lipsticks. They definitely require a good lip primer, as they’re fairly drying and they don’t have the best wear time without one either. Also, if you don’t use a liner with them, some of the colors bleed a little bit. It’s not too bad but it’s definitely noticeable!
I picked this palette up at my local Ulta store a little while back, and I’ll admit, I was excited about it. Particularly considering it was half off, who wouldn’t want a full palette for a mere 27$ 🤷🏼♀️and considering I’ve always thought Smokey eyes were sexy as all heck, it’s something I was incredibly excited for.
However, I’ll also admit that it was a bit of a let down. The shades in this palette, while fairly standard for a palette, were nothing special and they don’t always blend the best. It’s just a palette, and honestly, if you’re in the market for a Smokey palette, this is a good one. But if you’re not entirely lacking, this is something you can pass on.
Okay, so if I’m being honest... I’ve been a Fab Fit Fun member for two years and I only subscribed in the beginning because one of my favorite bachelorette leads was shilling it! Shout out to JoJo 🙌🏻💕
With that being said, my experiences with FFF have been a totally mixed bag. Aka there’s been highs but there’s DEFINITELY been some lows. However, I’ll start with the positives! First, the price is fantastic. It’s definitely better if you do an annual subscription, not because of the perks that come with it, but simply because your boxes actually come out to be a little bit cheaper and you get a little more personalization when it comes to your boxes. And as someone who does have preferences, I absolutely love the fact that I get to choose what I get in my box.
And with that being said, the value when it comes to these boxes is actually so so so fantastic. Even if they inflate what something is worth a little bit, you’re definitely getting these products at a way more affordable price than you would have otherwise. So if you’re looking to try something new, particularly prestige makeup and skincare, this is a fantastic option for you 👌🏻
And now on to the not so positive things... FFF customer service is an absolute joke. I’ve had some issues with my boxes, with items coming late or not getting my add ons in a timely manner, and like any customer who does pay a bit for these boxes, I’ve contacted support. And in most, if not all of those instances, I’ve had people be incredibly rude to me. The emails are a joke, like... to be honest, there’s been more than a few times that I’ve considered dropping FFF just because I’m so annoyed. But somehow, they always get me to come back 🤷🏼♀️
As an individual, I’m someone who (admittedly) always, always wants to spoil my pets. Especially my little dog, Lola 💕💕💕 with a face that cute, who couldn’t?
Anyways, when it comes to feeding my pets, I’m always on the lookout for a treat that they’ll love and is fairly good for them. After a little mistake where my old dog ate some chocolate my sister left on the ground and got sick, I’m very particular about the things I feed to my four legged friends 🐕 and one of the constant staples I’ve always had for my pups are these bones. Seriously, we’ve ALWAYS had them available at our house.
Not only are these bones fairly inexpensive, they’re also available at nearly every store I’ve gone to. They come in a super big box, meaning I hardly ever run out of them and even that box doesn’t cost that much at my local target. Even more important, my little dogs LOVE these bones. So it’s a win for both of us! 💕
Let me tell you, I wanted so much to be excited about this palette. I picked up this palette when I was first getting into morphe, thinking it would be my new favorite palette - but unfortunately, it’s a palette that’s gone into my ‘hardly ever if ever used’ pile. Because honestly, the palette didn’t live up to the hype.
Maybe it’s because it feels like every single palette that came out in the last year was super red, earthy tones, but this palette seems like every other one I have. The color variation is nothing to get excited over, and honestly, it’s a palette that doesn’t have anything particularly special about it. It’s just red, and it’s boring and honestly, I wish that I could take it back??
First things first, this palette was probably one of the ones I was the most excited to have come out for the past two years or so. I’ve been in search of a red toned palette that wasn’t made by morphe (those shadows usually stain my eyes 😭😭) for what seems like forever, so I was really excited to try this one out! However, this little guy wasn’t the one for me.
This palette is really easy to use, like it blends like a dream- and it doesn’t stain your skin like other palettes may do. However, my issue with this palette came from the fact that, whole this palette looked absolutely fantastic on (it’s so freaking beautiful), my eyes definitely weren’t having it. They started getting irritated almost instantly, and within an hour or so, they were redder than the shades of this palette. I’ve seen so many people have different results with this palette, but if you have eye sensitivity, you need to be careful because this palette definitely isn’t the one for you 😭
Review for: Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liner more...
God, there’s literally nothing I wanted more than to love these liners. I picked up a few of them from my local Ulta a few months ago, thinking they were beautiful — but honestly, I’ve been a little disappointed ever since I purchased them. While they go on beautifully at times, the side effects of using these aren’t worth it.
For the most part when I used these, my eyes were fine but when the glitter liner got too close to my lash line, they burned a little bit. As someone who has a lot of issues with eye irritation, that’s something I don’t really mess with, so as much as I love the looks that these liners help me create, I probably won’t be messing with them again 😭 if you’re someone who doesn’t have to worry about eye sensitivity, these will probably be great for you but unfortunately, I’m not that person
You know, when I first heard about this (or more accurately, saw it when I was perusing Ulta), I’ll admit that I was totally skeptical. The idea of a perfect, amazing lipstick that could just magically turn itself into the perfect shade for me seemed ridiculous: it couldn’t be real. So when someone recommended it to me, I all but laughed in their face. 😂
But then, you know, like any curious girl who had the idea of perfection just dangled in her face, I tried it out. With the high price point, I was praying beyond all shadow of a doubt that it would work (after all, who wants to drop 30+ on a lipstick and have it NOT work out??) and I’ll admit, I was pleasantly surprised. After applying it, and letting it do it’s thing, this lippie gave me the perfect shade of pink, exactly as promised. And better yet, it lasted all day. After comparing stories with some of my friends, I’m fairly certain it works beautifully for any lips, but if you don’t believe me, try it out yourself! You’ll definitely be a happy customer 🥰🙌🏻
Okay, if there’s one thing I can admit, it’s that my blush game isn’t the strongest at times. Not that I don’t know how to blend it out, or how to apply it, but simply that I tend to pick a blush I like and then refuse to use anything else. Literally ever. But a friend recommended this to me, just telling me to try something different, and let me tell you, this was a game changer! 🙌🏻
I tried this and it looked beautiful on me. Not only was the color perfectly pigmented (not too much, but definitely visible) but it was so easy to blend. There wasn’t any trial and error, it just went on really easily and I think I might be in love! Seriously, I’d buy this product again, especially considering the price point is fairly standard!
