I mostly went to the Y for swimming and ohhh my goooddd. you could choke on the smell of chlorine there, your eyes burned and I felt like I smelt like it for days after. there were often times they would cut off parts of the pool for other things, so you could only swim in a tiny area. so that's no bueno. as far as actually working out, the environment was great, I didn't feel intimidated, and people were actually willing to help if you needed it.
Ross is where I've shopped my whole life! I've always loved going here. being plus sized, they've always had a decent selection, even for me. and the clothes are super cute, especially for the price. I don't think I've ever paid more than $13 for a shirt or $20 for jeans! I love their dresses during summer time too, buuut their winter selections could use a bit of work. the ugly sweater dresses it seems like are the only thing they get after November, and it's just not my thing.
