I love lip plumpers and had yet to try this one, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but instead of the normal hot burn/sting I would expect from a lip plumper, I got a weird vibration thing that lasted for about an hour. It was not comfortable to say the least, and couldn't wait for it to stop. I also noticed no plumping effect. Would not recommend.
I usually don't have an issue with dry skin, but this winter has been a new one for me. Dry everywhere, especially feet, elbows, hands, knees. I picked this up at walmart and within 3 days of using it, my skin was free of all the severely dry rough spots that were starting to burn and itch from being so dried out. I will say it leaves a bit of a sticky feeling, similar to some self tan products, which I can not STAND. But if you put it on before bed and give it some time to absorb, it's not an issue. Every morning I was waking up with noticeably softer and more moisturized skin. I'll definitely be making this a staple.
I have already tried and loved the original white setting powder, but decided to try the corrective yellow to brighten up my under eye area. I can say this stuff is super pigmented, so much that it doesn't work for me due to my super pale skin. I feel like in the summer when my skin is a bit darker, this will work WONDERFULLY, but just not right now. I wish they would make the yellow powder in a lighter shade, as this yellow is just too dark. This product really does a great job at setting your makeup and keeping you nice and matte all day without looking cakey.
I received this product for free for testing purposes, and was super excited to try it out! My hair has a lot of dryness and damage from bleaching, so I'm always looking for new products to make my hair feel and look its best. The packaging is great, it definitely gives off the vibe of a professional product. Upon the first spray, I immediately noticed the smell. I am normally not bothered by smells but I found this smell to be really off putting, like a mix between a strong salon smell mixed with body odor- definitely not how I want my hair smelling fresh out of the shower. Application was easy enough, and I had high hopes for the overall finish once blow dried. Unfortunately, it was not what I expected at all. My hair was left feeling soiled, as if it hadn't been washed in a few days, or kind of like I hadn't rinsed out my conditioner enough. Just a weird film that I personally did not enjoy. I only applied to the ends and lengths of my hair, which were left not only soiled-feeling but also kind of crunchy and stiff. I did not feel like my hair looked great as I went out that night, and regardless of whatever 21 benefits I may have benefited from, the cons definitely outweigh the pros on this one. The smell, the feel, the look. I expected way more.
I received this product free from Influenster. After reading all of the claims, I really wanted to love it! The packaging is nice, the smell isn't bad, and the actual feel of it on my skin is decent. However, I don't see this standing out compared to all my other products, nor did I see any results. I think a longer term use might yield results but I wouldn't know. I probably wouldn't buy it due to price, a lot of other products feel the same for way cheaper.
I love this smell, it's so classic. I grew up with my mother always wearing this smell, so this scent honestly makes me "happy" when I smell it. I would always wear it when I was younger, as it made me feel more "grown." It's a staple perfume I always have on hand that I use when the mood strikes.
I normally tolerate these products pretty well, but this one I did not, and I would not buy this product again. I used as instructed, and it burned pretty bad while on my legs. After rinsing it off, it hadn't gotten all of the hairs. My legs broke out in itchy bumps afterwards. I wanted to shave the rest of my legs since this product failed to remove all of the hair, but my legs were so inflamed that it would have been torture to shave.. so I was stuck with red, stubbly, bumpy legs for a week. Never. Again.
So far so good! I've been wanting an epilator for the longest time, because I cannot stand shaving everyday and cost-wise, it makes more sense to invest in a good epilator that you pay for once and use for years than to pay crazy amounts of money for waxes. No mess, no need to continually buy more stuff, can touch up anytime. Now down to the nitty gritty on this item.. it's the first epilator I have personally owned but compared to others I've seen, this one really does seem to be high quality. I love that it's cordless, rechargeable and you do not need batteries. The design of it is flawless and makes for a much more efficient and comfortable experience. Here is the truth though, I have tried it once, and yes it hurt. I have never waxed or epilated my leg hair before so that was expected, but I noticed just on the first pass that it literally got EVERYTHING. I'm looking forward to a hopeful pain reduction over time as the hair will hopefully come back thinner and I can tolerate it better... but this item really is top notch. Don't go for one of the cheap ones.
