I love this smell, it's so classic. I grew up with my mother always wearing this smell, so this scent honestly makes me "happy" when I smell it. I would always wear it when I was younger, as it made me feel more "grown." It's a staple perfume I always have on hand that I use when the mood strikes.
I normally tolerate these products pretty well, but this one I did not, and I would not buy this product again. I used as instructed, and it burned pretty bad while on my legs. After rinsing it off, it hadn't gotten all of the hairs. My legs broke out in itchy bumps afterwards. I wanted to shave the rest of my legs since this product failed to remove all of the hair, but my legs were so inflamed that it would have been torture to shave.. so I was stuck with red, stubbly, bumpy legs for a week. Never. Again.
So far so good! I've been wanting an epilator for the longest time, because I cannot stand shaving everyday and cost-wise, it makes more sense to invest in a good epilator that you pay for once and use for years than to pay crazy amounts of money for waxes. No mess, no need to continually buy more stuff, can touch up anytime. Now down to the nitty gritty on this item.. it's the first epilator I have personally owned but compared to others I've seen, this one really does seem to be high quality. I love that it's cordless, rechargeable and you do not need batteries. The design of it is flawless and makes for a much more efficient and comfortable experience. Here is the truth though, I have tried it once, and yes it hurt. I have never waxed or epilated my leg hair before so that was expected, but I noticed just on the first pass that it literally got EVERYTHING. I'm looking forward to a hopeful pain reduction over time as the hair will hopefully come back thinner and I can tolerate it better... but this item really is top notch. Don't go for one of the cheap ones.
I'm so late to hop on this product but I'm so glad I did!! I've been trying to stay away from mattes recently as they are just too drying for me and tend to crack and look bad no matter how much prep I've done. These are sooo comfortable to wear. It dries down to an almost matte finish on me without the horrid cracking and pieces balling up. I tried 4 different colors, I can't wait to buy the rest! These are lovely!
Super pigmented! Definitely not a good idea if you're heavy handed! This is good stuff for a good price. It's very easy to use and apply, just gotta work on being light. I'm used to using products that aren't as pigmented, so it's somewhat of a learning curve for me. I would recommend this for anyone!
I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but I LOVE THIS EYELINER! It's $1 from Dollar Tree and I've been using it religiously for about a year now. I'm not sure what it is about it, but it's very comfortable to apply, and just feels "right" for me. For $1, you can't beat that. Staying power is lovely too, it doesn't budge until I remove all my makeup. Really can't say anything other than everyone should give this hidden gem a chance. A true diamond in the rough.
This is a solid Mascara. Definitely on the light and natural side, while still performing wonderfully. The brush is amazing! As always with tarte, the packaging is lovely. Unfortunately, I like a more dramatic look so this is not the mascara for me... but I definitely see how so many love this one!
Okay, this is DEFINITELY NOT GRADUAL. I'm a long time lover of Jergen's products and this is nothing like that. The first time I used this product I put it on before bed expecting to wake up and see a slight hint of color that would deepen over days. Shocked is an understatement of my feelings when I woke up and looked into the mirror. It looked like I had just used a regular self tanner. Fortunately I had prepped and applied well, so I didn't have any crazy streaks, and I was happy to have such instant deep color... but I just wasn't ready for that haha. I definitely think this should be relabeled as a regular self tanner and not gradual, because the difference in color with one application is super intense!
I tried lip injections with Juvederm for the first time this past April. I think I have a pretty high pain tolerance, and this was worse than I'd have though, but still manageable. It was over quick. Healing took a while, my lips felt hard and stiff and super sore for a good week, and there was some residual soreness for another week and a half. I have 1 full syringe and it did make a nice difference. It's been a little over 4 months and I can see a decline in plumpness. I'm considering getting more as I definitely prefer plumper lips... my natural lips are non existent... but for the price and duration of healing time it's a tough call. I'll probably try a new doctor as I know others who have had this and only experienced mild soreness for a few days.
