#Under the makeup and behind my smile, I'm just a girl who wants the world***
About three years ago, I decided to take my love of makeup. It was something natural, which happened in a gradual but intense way ...
The fact is that the makeup entered my life discreetly, but at the same time, its arrival was overwhelming.
I can not need it since I love makeup. But I know from when she changed my way of life.
Curious is to see how simple pigments, with or without technology have transformed me completely ...
I'm not just talking about learning to make-up, to use the products correctly ...
I talk about self-esteem, desire to be well, healthy, beautiful, happy!
Along with the colors and glitter of makeup, I also acquired personality, sensuality, satisfaction, acceptance.
I believe and am part of a group of people who work for interior and exterior beauty.
I promote my well-being and the people around me. I share the pleasure of fighting for happiness, not transferring this responsibility to anyone. I accept myself with my qualities and my faults, without punishing myself as I used to ...
The makeup brought me back to the pleasure of living.
I am very excited to wear my new lipstick. Love the price love the color. I got it yesterday can't wait to use it. Because of how creamy this lipstick was I was under the impression that it would not last through everyday life. While it does not have the lasting ability of a matte liquid lipstick, it lasts for much longer than I expected!
I’ll be honest, it’s not an all-day tint, but depending how many cups of coffee you drink, you can expect these stains to last between 3-6 hours. If you don’t mind re-applying, they’re perfect for an instant colour boost to take you through to your lunch break.
Since testing these out, I’ve also discovered that they work perfectly as a ‘pre-lipstick primer’ to stop bleeding and patchiness of colour. I like to mix the stains with nude lipsticks for a muted shade, or pair with them with bold lip shades for a brighter, wilder look. If you already use the Joli Rouge Lipstick, the Instant Light Lip Oils, Lip Balm Perfector or the Natural Lip Perfector, the Water Lip Stains will be a nice way to enhance your look for summer.
This is exactly what I hoped it would be - medium coverage, holds up all day even with walking commutes to work, easy to apply, doesn't break me out. I love it! I had been using Paula's Choice RESIST Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30, but I wanted a bit more coverage, and the PC is a more matte finish (and can be/look dying). The finish of the NARS is dewy, but I consider it pretty close to a skin-like finish (and I still wear a thin layer of normal moisturizer underneath that I could skip if I wanted). I wear the color Terre Neuve which is a great match for me, way better than the average drugstore fair colors.
have combo/oily skin and find this primer did nothing to make my foundation last and isn't that the whole point of a primer?? If anything it helped it to slide off. I felt I looked greasy from the moment I had finished my make up. I was hoping for a bit of a glow. I'd never tried a luminating primer before because I have oily skin but this was a sample in my birchbox. I expected to enjoy this product especially as it has a higher price point. I want to like it but I just can't. It's just been sitting in my make up drawer. Keep hoping it will magically become good but I just dont reach for it. That said I imagine someone with dry skin night appreciate this but not for me.
I've been using this tinted moisturizer for about 8 full months now, and I'm just finally running out. I use this every single day. It is hands down my favorite tinted moisturizer. As someone who doesn't wear foundation and simply wants a natural, sheer look with just a little bit of color, this is perfect for me. Occasionally I have some slight redness around my cheeks, and this evens out my skin nicely. While I do feel this is hydrating, I don't think it's enough to skip my every day moisturizer. That isn't a deal breaker for me, though.
All four perform extremely well and give the skin a natural candlelit glow. The shimmer is noticeable on the complexion but not over the top. That being said, for my medium skin, the lighter shades Devotion and Addiction do have a more visible sheen on my skin because of the color contrast to my natural skintone. Devotion is all kinds of gorgeous for a soft light opal pink sheen without looking too pale. Addiction is pretty just not for my skintone. Seduction acts like a bronzer. Indiscretion is hands down my favorite. With so many highlighters available to choose from picking one or narrowing down picks to a few might seem overwhelming. I certainly find that it is. If you can try in person I recommend you do – finding the right one for you will be kinda like finding the right foundation for you. It depends on your skin type, skin texture, coverage, degree of shimmer and application preferences. I think the Face Illuminators from Laura Mercier have the a very unique texture compared to others. The non-powdery finish makes them feel almost like a cream so they adhere well to the skin. Shimmer is definitely noticeable to give the skin a glowy highlight so it’s apparent on the skin but it’s not over the top. I love that for the most part they don’t emphasize my skin imperfections or pores too much. Your mileage may vary depending on what your skin texture is like. All this being said if you’re going more for color effect rather than formula or texture you will be able to find a lot of other products that will give you a similar look (as shown by the handful of comparison swatches).Laura Mercier Face Illuminator Powder
Unremarkable tinted moisturizer. It has a very chemically scent to it that lingers and forms an almost tacky film on the skin rather than drying down. It's semi-matte on my skin and evened out very little. My skin isn't perfect but I don't have glaring breakouts, and I didn't expect coverage.
It was hard to blend, which is odd considering it's such a liquidy product. But no, once on skin it's almost as if its pigments cling to the skin while the product just slips around and then suddenly becomes sticky. Streaky application with fingers. So then I tried with a brush, it clung to the bristles and felt like I was just moving a wet brush on my face. Beauty blender gave me the same result. Layers poorly with all the other cream products I used (blush, bronzer and concealer).
The cherry on top? Next day my face is covered in red blotches and tiny breakouts everywhere, signalling an allergic reaction. HOWEVER this doesn't factor into the review as I believe that skin will react differently to ever product and many will not have a reaction or sensitive skin. The 1 star is soley for how poorly this product preformed and for the price I paid, I expected better for FREE Influenster ❤️❤️❤️❤️
