I am a 38 year old disabled housewife. I love beauty products and crafts. I am a very avid reader and read as often as I can. I love trying out new beauty products and am a member of a couple beauty subscriptions. I crochet, knit, sew, paint and love puzzles. I just love crafts all together.
I live with my husband and 2 Maine Coon cats Purdy and Tipsy. They will be 8 years old this coming June.
When it comes to makeup, I love to experiment with different colors. My go tos for everyday wear are natural nudes but I often love to add pops of color in whenever I can. I love fashion and have an obsession with maxi dresses and scarves.
I spent most of my time on social media, reviewing products, discussing books and helping other crafters with whatever they need.
This is my absolute favorite facial wipes for removing makeup. They are the best wipes for removing even the most stubborn of makeup. They are gentle on the skin yet very good for removing all the makeup and dirt from your face. There are two main reasons why i o luv gave this brand and product two stars even though they are my favorite and I use all the time. The first is the price point is a bit much compared to all the others in the same category and the second is that the company is not cruelty-free meaning that the company still tests its products on animals. If they went completely cruelty free I would change to a 5 star rating.
These are my go to in my makeup bag and my gym bag for physical therapy. They are the perfect pick me up for your skin on a a really hot day. They clean the oil and tone your skin at the same time. Witch hazel is great for skin and Dickinson’s is the only company I will buy form. They are cruelty free and an amazing product and price point for anyone. I have turned my whole family into Dickinson’s users.
These are my favorite face wipes for using after physical therapy or on a really hot day to cleanse the face. I love Dickinson’s witch hazel products. They are completely worth the money, are so good for your skin and a natural toner. I have turned my whole family to using them as well. I always carry some in my purse and go bag. I also love that the company is cruelty free.
This is really just meh. It had a sweet flavor and we don’t like sweet tartar sauce. It actually tastes more like it’s made with sweet mayo instead of best foods. Not a fan at all. I really expected more from best foods but this was just not worth it. I have shared it with other family members and they agree it’s not that good.
I like this product for matte looks. I don’t wear liquid foundations or powders often. I usually just wear a cc or B.B. cream. I picked this up to play around with and see if I would like it. It really is kind of nice. I only use a small amount to even out my skin tone so I can’t attest to coverage as I prefer a more natural face look. It does not last all day (a full 8 hours) even with primer and setting but it did last for a while. It is a tad drying but that is easily fixed with my moisturizer. Since this is drying I would not use a powder on top. I have used this now from time to time on my t-zone or as a concealer and base primer on my eyes. Have only used a few times so far and will update once have used for a month.
I got this to try it out because my normal brow gel was it of stock. This is the absolute worst brow gel I have ever tried. First of all the wand or brush is just stupid. It holds way too much product on it and even after scraping the product back into the bottle there is a lot in the little cup. I got the color medium brown and it is way too dark. It is definitely not med brown. It looks more black. I’m a dark brunette and my natural hair is almost black brown. I don’t like using black/brown on my brows as I feel it makes them too dark and gives them the dreaded awful “sharpie effect” that so many girls seem to think looks good. (It doesn’t) I prefer a natural looking brow but also like it to look filled in. This brow product looks more patchy then a fiber gel should. It goes on really thick and goopy and extremely patchy and does not dry down well. It looks like you brushed on a goopy, dry, flaky mascara on your brows and then dumped powder on top of them. I did like the point on the tip for the tails but honestly it just isn’t worth the $9 it was to purchase. Please don’t waste your money. There is no fixing this product. I wanted this to work, I really did. I will be returning it. It’s just awful.
I got the chance to try this from my friend who got it from Ipsy. After trying the color I bought it myself on sale. I really like the formula. It’s smooth and opaque. This color isn’t something I would normally wear against my tan skin but I love the color. Sometimes I add a tad of brown liquid lipstick to it to darken it a bit. It lasts a long time even with eating. Its a great matte and doesn’t need re-applying often. The color is opaque and doesn’t really need multiple layers. Okay so now the cons. You don’t get a lot of product on the doe foot when you pull it out of the tube so you will have to dip more than once the get enough product to use.(could also just be a fluke and I got one that does it.) it goes on really thin so you will need a primer or balm on before applying. The applicator doe foot isn’t very flexible either. The biggest downside is that it takes a while to dry so you have to have your mouth open for a bit until it does dry. Otherwise it would have got all five stars
I love this brow fiber so much. It goes on smooth and fills out really well. I love how it still looks natural while still shaping and filling my brows. The colors are a perfect mix for my hair color. The gel goes one really smooth and dries pretty quickly. It keeps all the hairs in their place and keeps them there all day. Milani is cruelty free and has great products. Only downside is that it is not waterproof and can rub off.
I loved this pencil. The shape is perfect and the number 3 color is the perfect shade. The downside is that it dries out way too quickly and the price that you pay for the product is ridiculous for something that dries out in about a week. It just isn’t worth the price. It only goes on nicely for about a few days and then bam it’s dry. If it didn’t dry so fast then it would be great. The company also isn’t 100% cruelty free anymore.
