While I do find this moisturizing, it was hard to rinse off and left parts of my face feeling dry & others very oily. I've seen an increase in breakouts as well & it's frustrating to not be able to use this for my whole face - you have to avoid your eyes and mouth. It even broke me out on my neck and jawline... And I have never had breakouts there before.
Glides on smoothly, leaves a nice stain if you want to use it alone. The automatic sharpener works well and the product itself is really creamy but doesn't bleed or feather. Worth far more than the price and the color selection is great - they are on sale constantly at the local drugstore too.
I like the taper on this wand - there's no clip, which makes it easier for touching up my naturally curly hair. Since the heat level is adjustable, it's easy to turn it down to use on my daughter's hair. The heat is just enough to get a curl in my hair, but it would be nice if it when just a little bit hotter.
Leaves a very strong scent and a heavy white cast, no matter how far away I spray. I also find it weighs down my hair and is very hard to wash out. I use dry shampoo for more texture versus oil control - this may be better for those dealing with an oily scalp.
Favorite dry shampoo - my hair is very dark and this is the only dry shampoo I have found that doesn't leave a white cast. When I use this, I can extend my hairstyle life & give some extra volume and texture to my hair. I usually can find it on offer at Ulta, but it's also carried at most drugstores.
Love my powder contour palette. I have olive skin and a propensity for deep tans during the summer (but also redness from acne prescription damage) and this is one of the few contour products that is a usable option for me. Also, her #20 brow brush? Perfection.
Anyone who has tried a natural dish detergent knows the real test is a greasy pan - this Seventh Generation detergent does an excellent job of cleaning even my grungiest dishes. The scent is nice but not overpowering, and the formula doesn't leave your hands overly dry. It's on my regular rotation of natural & biodegradable cleaning products.
I was really surprised to not see this listed in the beauty awards voting! I love this face product - I have dry skin that can be hard to color match and prone to a lot of redness & dark circles.... But after using this product consistently I've seen a great improvement in my overall tone & texture. It wears beautifully and I only need a small amount of concealor should I want a fuller coverage. A great product, and worth the price!
