The pros: the curved wand lifts and lengthens my lashes, it didn’t smear all over when my eye watered a little. Cons: the formula is thick and the squeezy tube packaging puts a lot of product at the top causing some clumping. Hard to take off because it comes off in flakes (I don’t like tubular mascaras). Doesn’t add a lot of volume, but also doesn’t separate my lashes well.
So this did bring a little life/color to my lips when they were looking a little blah. I felt a little tingle the first time I used it, but not since. I didn’t notice any actual plumping. Plus it tastes bad and is sticky.
I have yet to find a hair mask that really makes much of a difference to my hair. Granted I only wash my hair twice a week. This is a nice mask but again I’m not noticing any major benefits. It smells amazing. Doesn’t weight my hair down. I like that it’s “one minute” but then it just kinda seems like a conditioner.
This is a great cleanser. It doesn’t dry me out too much (most cleansers do, even “hydrating” one’s). But after washing my face my skin does feel nice and clean. Only four stars because it can be irritating if it gets in my eyes. And I wish it had a pump or squeeze tube!!
Love that this is a no frills Retinol product for a good price. I replaced my skinceuticals retinol with this and haven’t noticed a difference. I use a prescription strength Retin A so my skin can handle this level of retinol without a problem, but if you’re not a retinol user this can cause flaking or irritation...if new use this a few nights per week for starters and work your way up to nightly as tolerated.
