Newest MAC drop? Where to get the best fit for your body? Michael Kors classics and that one trendy piece you have to have? How to keep clean eating from becoming deprivation? Working out from becoming checking out? Ask me, all my friends do.
“Plumping” is a ploy that instantly makes me cringe - and a moniker that loses this otherwise great gloss a star. Does it make my thin lips soft and voluptuous? Of course not. Does it last for days without transfer? Of course not, it is a gloss. It does make for a great topper - neither too sticky, nor too slippery. The pigment is great too; I often wear it alone. The gloss speaks for itself, but if you want bigger lips, find injections.
DO. NOT. BUY. Poor quality, poor application tools, bad formula. I think drugstore Wet and Wild is probably better. Don’t buy the pretty box, buy a decent product. I would not only never waste my money, I would throw away any given to me.
It is a shame you can’t do no stars. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!! The quality is terrible. I bought one tube, it was sealed, but half full. I exchanged it. The next was sealed, but the product had separated and this disgusting oil clung to the applicator. I returned it. Not knowing of my experience, a friend gave me a lip kit. The metallic sheen flaked off and my lips were left dried and chapped in the corners. On top if that, the applicator wand was rubbish. Just. Terrible.
This is the only liquid matte I will ever use. It is weightless, goes on like velvet, feels like you are wearing nothing at all... and on to of all that, it does not budge. Morning to night, perfection you don’t have to think about. Every woman needs this in her life.
Now we are getting to a Dior lipstick that is almost worth the price. At least it is better than most of their others. It has better lasting power and leaves lips softer. Still, save the money and buy Clinique Almost Lipstick.
My grandmother loved Dior and this was my first ‘grown up’ lipstick. It hasn’t changed much over the years. Not true. The price has gone up. What has changed is the market and what other houses have come out with. This just isn’t worth the money. It is no better than Clinique Long Last Lipstick but a LOT more expensive. In fact, it is more expensive than M.A.C Cosmetics Lipstick, and not nearly as good. Give this a pass.
I love Dior makeup, yet I find this lipstick to be overrated and overpriced. The pigments are mediocre and have a high rate of transfer. There are other ombré and tie dyed shades on the market with more dramatic effects. I was underwhelmed.
