I used to look through items on SokoGlam and just wish that I could order items on it! I was just too scared to take the plunge on skincare I knew nothing about. Well fast forward a year, I now only use SokoGlam to look up products and then buy them elsewhere pretty much all the time. The site is beautiful and incredibly informative, but the shipping costs are INSANE and the items sometimes cost more than they are listed anywhere else. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to buy from SokoGlam, especially for the authenticity guarantee, but those shipping costs aren't worth it in the end when they can sometimes double your total. Korean skincare was is supposed to be affordable compared to shopping at Sephora. NOPE. Just. Not. Happening.
The handles of this stand have changed since the posted picture. It's made of particle wood but it is indeed strong enough to support a 20 to 29 gallon like it says. The back is bare open for wiring or in case of using a cannisters filter for your tank. There is also a single adjustable shelf inside either side of the cabinet which is separated down the middle. Since it is black and particle wood, any damages or dust will be seen clearly.
Now, this took me 1 and a half hours to build without rushing or anyone else helping me. Others say it took them a day or two and that it was terrible. I've seen soooo many reviews saying that this piece is a mess to build and that the instructions suck.... Personally I think that those people are too idiotic to know their left hand from their right. I'm a tiny 23 year old girl with no background in construction, carpentry or any of that. This was seriously easy to me. So if you have common sense you should be fine too.
I'm glad I bought this stand. I didn't have space for my 29 gallon and it also keeps me from leaving all my water treatments and fish food all over the living room. It also doesn't look bad at all and matches the rest of my furniture very well. I just don't think it's worth how much it cost if I'm be honest.
The kit is pretty handy for a beginner fish keeper. The tank is nice, the hood too, the fact that it also includes a heater, net, and thermometer! Very nice, especially when most beginners have no clue about anything so they don't know they'll need to buy these - I work at a pet store and I see these issues on a daily. People just buy a tank and then 3 months later come ask me why their fish is dying when there's no filter or water conditioner being used! Outragious but common. Everything in the kit is easy to set up. Though I must say, it is a little hard to see adjust the heater setting because the visibility on the setting strip is slim to none. Use a flashlight, it'll help. My biggest issue with this tank though, is the filter. It's fairly decent at first, besides it being too strong for a lot of fish who would require a 10 gallon. Luckily there's a flow adjuster. However, this filter just won't last you a whole year before it starts losing efficiency. It's barely got any filter media in it either so that's not helping much. At least there's an indicator to know when to change it. I recommend swishing it clean in used tank water that you're about to dump out to help the longevity of the filter media so you don't have to buy replacements as often. But for what it is, this is still a very good kit and you can always upgrade to a much nicer filter for like $40 (a Fluval perhaps). These sets also go on sale for half price fairly often.
I played Crash Bandicoot all throughout my childhood so I wanted this game so badly! Unfortunately it isn't exactly like the old one. It doesn't even have multiplayer - which was my main joy as a child. And a lot of the games in it are platformers - even warped which isn't supposed to be. Some day maybe I'll get into this new one, but I had high expectations and to me it just doesn't feel the same.
I received this in my most recent VoxBox, and I must say, the packaging is the nicest I've ever gotten a mask in. NO NEED TO GET YOUR HANDS MESSY! In this stick form it slides right on. And you don't have to apply pressure either; it applies smooth and just as thick as you need it. Definitely something more companies need to start doing.
As for the formula, the texture on your skin is very nice. It does not dry down and crack all over your face. Rather, to me it feels like somewhat of a matte putty (if that makes sense). It's really comfortable. The formula is also easy to rinse off, so you won't be standing there struggling with removal forever like with some other masks.
Afterward, my skin feels nice, plump and smooth. Though this is where my complaint comes in... Soon after that, my skin starts to crack and flake. I've currently been dealing with dehydrated skin and I mentioned this in the survey that they used to pick our items with. This item is supposed to make your skin "Glow"... But with my results I don't think that means a hydrated glow. I think I would have been better off with the pink version, but I will still continue to use this because I really do enjoy it. I'll just use extra hydrators afterwards.
I was very excited to receive this mist since I had recently been hitting a dry spell in my normally oily skin (during the summer of all things). The ingredients are very nice too and it smells great. Not overpowering either. My first impression was very good. Upon spraying it my skin felt nice and moisturized... For a moment. But soon after, maybe 5 mins, my skin would dry, crack and flake. I'm not sure if the product is the problem, or whatever is going on with my skin. For that reason I'll try this product a couple more times, especially after my skin gets better, to give it a fair chance. But for now I suggest it be for combo or oily skin, because even with a moisturizer this dried me out. If anything changes for me, I'll update this review and let you guys know. I really want this to be something I can use. For now I can't even try it over makeup because I have a hard enough time as is to wear makeup on this weird random dryness.
These are so creamy and delicious. Ever since moving to the US I've struggled to find chocolate I enjoy because of the sugar content being unnecessarily high and ruining the smoothness and taste of chocolate. These are nothing like that though, and whenever I get these I ALWAYS enjoy them.
These work great! I have a cat that's used to medication and he took these straight, like a champ! For my other cats I had to turn these into liquid and squirt them in their mouths with a syringe (no needle, obviously), and it didn't change the effectiveness of this product at all. I'm very glad I came across these and amazed at how affordable they are. If they cost any more, I probably wouldn't have been able to get them.
I had a very flashy and pricy nail clipper for my cats but it was stolen from me at some point. I ended up getting this just for the time being but it wasn't as bad as i expected it to be. It's not as effortless as my old one on adult cat nails, but I now use this as my designated nail clipper for kittens. During my time as a grooming apprentice these also came in very handy for those tiny teacup dogs and chihuahuas who's nails were just way too small for the grinder or dog clippers.
