I suffer from bad food cravings and it was making my weight loss extremely difficult. I know that protein keeps me fuller longer and helps heal muscles after a workout, so I gave this a try. I blend it with frozen fruit and a scoop of almond butter for an extra protein boost. Happy to say it has kept my cravings at bay and I have lose eight pounds!
I have been trying to lose the baby weight for two years but my insane chocolate cravings had me squandering calories on crap. These bars are a good substitute for a snickers bar or something with little nutrition, and it supplements my workout with a good dose of protein. They are pretty good for a protein bar!
I am a huge fan of Pacific Naturals Organic soups, and up until last week had not tried this one. Their Butternut Squash soup and Tomato Bisque had been my go-to soups. This one has a very unusual twist of carrot and a little bite of ginger. I love it!
My husband bought me this perfume for my birthday. I usually adore Estee Lauder perfume. This, however, was not really my style. The scent is very overwhelming, so a little goes a long way. In addition it is very, very flowery. I am not much into flower scents (my favorite perfumes are Chanel Coco and Amarige...more sultry and smokier than floral). Pleasures is definitely a pretty scent, just not something I would wear every day.
My husband is a very macho, manly-man. He was using those ridiculous manly deodorants that are way too strong-smelling and leave residue. He was in a pinch having run out of his own, so in a hurry he borrowed my Dove GoSleeveless deodorant. I can safely say that he has dispensed with the manly stuff and regularly uses MY Dove GoSleeveless daily. It is extremely effective and strong enough for my very sweaty, very macho man to use with confidence.
I bought this perfume from a little shop in Venice when I was 17 years old. To this day it reminds me of the gondolas floating serenely through the charming and romantic city. Crisp, refreshing, deeply relaxing fragrance. I've been buying it ever since.
Let me start by stating that I have very fair skin and I am always looking for that sun-kissed glow. I live in Florida, however, and the sun can get very intense. I have used this sunscreen religiously since I moved here two years ago, and let me just say, I look more like a Floridian than ever! The SPF 8 is great because I know I won't get slaughtered by the sun, but not so much that I don't tan at all. It smells wonderful. It is a little pricey, that's why I give it only four starts.
Okay, okay...you got me. I've got facial hair. That's right. I'm a woman with a few stray hairs on her chin and let's face it, I need a good pair of tweezers. I have two very stubborn, wiry hairs that grow right on the crest of my chin. They are extremely difficult to get a hold of and I have tried countless brands of tweezers. Either they don't grab like they should, or they grab but aren't able to pull. Tweezerman does the job. I like that they are thicker than the average tweezers so you can grip them more evenly. They grab hold of even the thinnest most elusive hair. And they pull hairs clean from the root. They are slightly more expensive, but to more effectively eliminate "The Twins," as I affectionately call them, Tweezerman does the job.
