Review for Boppy Bare Naked Pillow with Slipcover - Sweet Pea - 1 month, 3 weeks ago

While my children are grown, I do frequently attend baby showers and this is one of the things that I gift most. New mom's always tell me how helpful these are when bottle feeding/nursing. Friends also used this for tummy time and learning to sit up right and swear that their babies love it. Of course I would advise to never leave baby unattended with it in a crib, playpen etc because after all it is a pillow, an amazing pillow - favorite print is sweet pea!
Review for essie Nail Polish - 2 months, 1 week ago

Essie has been a go-to brand for me for well over a decade. I was introduced to it at the salon and began purchasing their polishes from my nail salon to maintain my mani/pedi before they were sold at drugstores. They make some of the longest lasting polishes that last through dish washing, typing and daily activities. They rarely ever chip and have an extensive range of colors, some shades have a wonky formula but for the most part they're excellent and reliable polishes. I love cream polishes, especially their classic nudes, marshmallow anyone? My favorite metallic is Penny Talk which I'm currently wearing, it's a gorgeous rose gold. There are colors that appeal to everyone and they're 5 free meaning that they are free of 5 toxic chemicals that are mostly carcinogens.

Review for Kat Von D Lock-it Blotting Powder - 2 months, 1 week ago
Truly the best blotting powder I have ever used ❤ ️it is a powder but is undetectable once applied. I have combination/oily skin, especially in my t-zone area. This works amazingly well throughout the day when I get oily and it also works well as a setting powder. It doesn't emphasis lines, texture or my fine lines under my eyes which is most other powders do. It also doesn't hurt that the packaging on this is amazing! A replica of a wax stamp, c'mon, how can you not love that?!!!

I got some samples of this from Space N.K., I didn't really see what all the fuss is about. I did get a temporary brightening effect shortly followed by dullness which wasn't happening to me before I began using these. I think the problem is that this product has alcohol and strips the skin of natural moisture, alcohol is also an irritant!

Review for L'Oréal Youth Code Day/Night Cream Moisturizer - 2 months, 1 week ago

This cream is nice and rich and to me works equivalent to more expensive products that L'oreal also owns but this is about 1/3 or 1/4 of the price, I'm mainly speaking of Estee Lauder products that my mother swears by. It is hydrating, moisturizing and sinks into skin without feeling greasy. I like to use this at night mostly because it feels rich and luxurious and my skin can drink it up while I get my sleep.

Review for Clinique Dramatically Different™ Moisturizing Gel - 2 months, 1 week ago
This is sooo good for oily combination skin in the summer, it is the perfect balance so that your skin can stay moisturized without turning into an oil slick later on in the day! I usually buy the big bottle of this that comes with a pump and I refrigerate it on hot days because it feels so good that way. It absorbs quickly and never feels greasy, great before applying primer and makeup.

This stuff right here salvaged my skin this past winter when it became dry and was out of wack. I have combination skin and the winter really throws things off for me, my skin gets so dry and dehydrated  that some parts of my face get extremely oily as the day goes on, there is no balance. This stuff is yoga for my facial skin, I use it at night after my face cleaning regimen and my oiliness was no longer an issue. I use lighter moisturizers during the rest of the year but best believe I will be picking up a big jar of this right before Autumn hits. A little also goes a long way.

Review for Clarisonic Mia Travel Sonic Skin Cleansing System, Pink - 2 months, 1 week ago

I am on my second Clarisonic device, my first one lasted me about 6 years but the battery wouldn't hold charges very well. Because even rechargeable batteries need to be replaced that is understandable. Anyway, now for the good part, I waited for Sephora's sale and purchased a new one in hot pink ( my last was lavendar). I have missed using it so much, my pores look so much less visible and it no longer looks dull. That was the first thing I noticed when I stopped using it, my skin turned dull after a while, all of those nasty dead skin cells left on my skin. I even thought something was wrong with my foundation but it was just the lack of using my clarisonic. Now all is good in the world of foundation, no rough texture and waaaay less black heads and white heads. I use the sensitive head because I don't want to aggravate my skin while I use my acne treatments prescribed by my dermatologist. I feel like everyone should have one of these, you just aren't cleaning your face well enough if you aren't, especially if you wear makeup!

Review for Natasha Denona Sunset Eyeshadow Palette - 3 months, 2 weeks ago
I have to be honest, I'm totally in love with the presentation and packaging of this palette. It's all sorts of warm-toned goodness however I'm not too confident in its staying power once I wear it. I did a look the other day with the "Sol" (yellow shade) on my lid and it went on gorgeously and pigmented but it did not stay on very long before it significantly began to fade. Maybe I'll try a different primer but my look went from amazing to average - basically looks that I can get with the many other palettes that I own. I will continue to use it and figure it out, I many just need to use a white base under but I had high hopes for that shade. The rest of the shades are gorgeous in the palette and held up well, I actually still received many compliments on my eye look while wearing it although I felt that it faded.

Review for Jameson Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey - 3 months, 2 weeks ago
Hello whiskey sours! This is one of my favorite whiskeys, it's smooth and doesn't give hangovers due to its high distillation process I assume. I have drank it alone but I'm honestly not a fan of whiskey shots but they occasionally happen at parties and I'm always glad to see this bottle rather than other brands.
