Review for Clairol Natural Instincts Haircolor - 2 months, 2 weeks ago

I received this light ashy brown color and used it to blend my greys before getting my highlights touched up. This has worked great, the color looks natural. Someone actually told me I’m lucky that I don’t get grays but I do! This concealed them and blended the really silver ones. I see this particular dye in Target and Duane Reade/Walgreens. Under $9 is a great deal for this reliable hair color. I have washed my hair five times since using and haven’t noticed any fading nor hair dryness. I’ll pick this up on my next highlight touch up.

Review for: Lily, Fawn more...
I was dying to get my hands on this product and went to the show room and got to play with all of the colors. My top two favorites are Lily and Fawn. Lily brightens up my complexion a ton and Fawn is more demure, I was actually thinking that I would get a more bronzey color out of Fawn but it is more of a Taupe. These need to be built up for them to show up as they do on the website, that is my real complaint with these. They are best for a wash of color, I have also noticed that when I build up the color, it feels odd on my eyelid and gets a bit tacky and never fully dries. Still a really nice product and low maintenance, no brushes needed, just blend out the demarcation line and you're good to go. These also blend nicely to make other colors and I have been complimented on the subtle sparkles on my lids. I plan on getting Herb which sadly looks more like an old gold on my complexion but still really pretty. I wish these had a little more pigment, you know, the way it looks on their models on their website.
Review for Glossier Cloud Paint - 9 months, 4 weeks ago

Yooooo!!! The pigmentation on thissss......... is crazy!! I was in total shock being that Glossier is a no-fuss brand catered to millennials and I'm usually an all-out glam full face beat type of girl but I have my days where I like to be low key and of course there is office makeup. I love the brand in general for days that I'm running late, this product, in my opinion, has a learning curve because I didn't expect it to be so potent in color since Glossier products are mostly sheer and buildable but this for sure, packs a punch. My favorite color is Beam, however, I also have Haze and plan to buy the other colors soon. These mix great and leave a really pretty natural flush. I set it with powder blush when I do a full face of makeup but if I'm doing a low maintenance look I use it in conjuction with a little concealer and my Mac Face & Body foundation or Nars BB cream. This is pretty long lasting but lasts longer when set. I just really like it, it has to be my favorite product right now, that is saying a lot!
**btw my favorite way to use this is to use a tiny dot of it on my cheek and stipple it with my beauty blender, if you put on too much it will be messy, so start off small and build up if you wish!**

Review for Bed Bath & Beyond - 9 months, 4 weeks ago
Bed bath and beyond is great for home essentials and drugstore makeup, recently I have noticed that they no longer offer competitive pricing on the drugstore makeup though. As far as home goods go, they carry many essentials and their online store carries harder to find items. Their prices are on the higher side but if you sign up for their promotions, they send out a 20% off of one item coupon about twice monthly. I have yet to bump into any exclusion issues with their coupons so that's a plus. I recommend it, but prices can be better, I will still be using them for my bridal shower because I know that a lot of my friends like to shop here.
Review for Kate Somerville® ExfoliKate® Intensive Exfoliating Treatment - 10 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This was a product sent to me for my honest review by Influenster, it worked well. I have even thought of repurchasing it, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. This prepped my skin for the Exfolikate face cream that I truly enjoy using. It helps in removing dead skin cells and gives a brighter complexion, I just wouldn't overuse it for fear of irritating my skin.

This was sent to me by Influester and I am grateful for having received it to try out, however, it didn't wow me. I love high-end products but this didn't do anything high end for my skin. I will stick to my Cerave as this kind of irritated my skin. What I did love about the line was the facial moisturizer!

Review for Glossier Balm Dotcom - 10 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
I'm on the fence about Glossier, I like them, however, I feel that the brand is glorified by minimalists. Many products work just as well for cheaper although their prices aren't terrible. I got sucked into the birthday balm and thought it would work similar to my Bite agave lip mask but it does not and it also doesn't add much shine. I do keep this in my gym bag and it smells nice but this is not my fave Glossier product. If you want to try it don't expect to be wowed, after all, it is just lip balm.

Review for wet n wild® MegaGlo™ Highlighting Powder - 10 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This is an easy review, this highlighter kicks butt! Seriously, for under $5 this works just as good or better than mid-range brands at highlighting. My only qualm is that they sell out so quickly that they are hard to get a hold of. I was lucky enough to get mine as a gift from a makeup friend of mine that made a huge order from WNW and got me both "Precious Petals" and "Crown of my Canopy". These also look lovely layered, one over the other on my medium to tan skin tone but I can see them working well for a wide range of skin tones. WNW has to be my favorite drugstore brand, well I am also a big fan of L'oreal but WNW prices cannot be beaten!!

Review for Cottonelle® CleanCare® Toilet Paper - 10 months ago
Wellness Guru Expert Level 1
Some people may think that all toilet paper is the same but I am loyal to Scott tissue for a reason, I hate lint! This was linty and so are most types of these thicker and more absorbent toilet papers. I guess if you are ok with trading off using less paper to dry yourself for lint than go for it, this will work great for you. However, if you are not a fan of linty tissue, I suggest you stray from this product.
