not exactly my favorite product. i have damaged, color treated hair and i'm super specific about what i use with it (otherwise it's a hot mess). this conditioner didn't work well with my hair condition and didn't do much to aid the brittleness. overall i wouldn't spend my money on it.
Dry, Coarse, Thick, Chemically Treated, Color Treated
unfortunately this product didn't workout for me. i may be allergic to one of the ingredients. i had a mild case of tiny blisters all over my face with extreme dryness. i applied benedryl for nearly a week before the allergic reaction cleared up.
in general, crest toothpastes are my favorite! they have wonderful formulas that are super effective. of course, crest runs a bit more expensive in the selection of toothpastes, but it's definitely worth it. my mouth felt clean and fresh after use.
i received this in a box from influenster and i'm sure this is an awesome razor but the thing is... i don't shave (i get waxed). unfortunately that means i wouldn't ever use this, but i decided to give this 3 stars for neutrality purposes. aside from that, the handle seems nice and ergonomic with a comfortable grip.
Review for: SinfulColors Professional Nail Color more...
this was my first time trying sinful colors and i thought it was a beautiful color and i love the glitter! it lasts a fair amount of time considering the price. it isn't exactly my first choice of nail polish but it does the job. i'm not too big on nail polish in general either, but it's nice.
I received the color in Soft Brown from Influenster. The brow pencil is a bit too warm for my complexion and hair color. The formula is waxy and shows up fairly shiny on the skin. The tip is nice and fine so it's easy to fill in the brows in a natural way. The spooley isn't anything too special. It wore fine throughout the day, but I also tend to not touch my face throughout the day so I didn't test how durable it is. Overall I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this product.
i received the color in soft brown from influenster and for my complexion and hair, i feel like it's a bit too grey in color. the chalk is fairly difficult to work with and i recommend using a separate brow brush to apply it. the applicator it comes with it way too large and dispenses too much product. the first time i used it i had the boldest and messiest of brows ever. overall, i wouldn't purchase this on my own and i would rather use a pressed brow powder.
this highlighting duo is PHENOMENAL. this was my first highlighter purchase from Tom Ford and i am extremely pleased with this duo.
both powders are highly pigmented and give a smooth glow. the yellow gold highlighter work beautifully on my light-medium skintone and i can see it working for pretty much all other skin tones, especially deeper ones. the golden undertone makes it so that you appear beautifully bronzed and glowing. the rose gold shade doesn't work too well as a highlighter for me, so i use it as a shimmery blush and it works amazingly. i like to pair it with the yellow gold highlighter and i end up with a complexion that glowing all over.
in order to further intensify the highlight, i use my fingers to apply it and it POPS. the powder blends beautifully into the skin and doesn't appear chunky at all.
all i have to say is that i LOVE this compact. i was worried i missed out on the afternooner palette but after using this one, i'm positive this is the one i was meant to buy. it's a large compact and the pans are large enough for my brushes to fit in.
the highlighter has a soft petal pink tint to it and provides a soft radiance. the blush is a cool-toned bright pink and the bronzer is a warm medium brown.
all powders are highly pigmented and only require a soft hand. the highlighter is much more subtle than i expected and i tend to not use it too much. the blush and bronzer are real winners. they stay on all day and maintain pigment. they blend beautifully onto the skin and go on evenly.
this was my first tom ford face product and i love every bit of it!
i have mixed feelings about this product, especially given all the hype that's been surrounding it. it claims to hydrate the skin while providing a post-facial glow through exfoliation.
packaging: phenomenal. it's a well-made glass jar with a minimalistic appeal. the top is a gorgeous pink, as well as the product itself. it also comes packaged with a spatula and plastic covering beneath the lid.
texture: the epitome of goopy. it spreads nicely over the skin and adheres well.
fragrance: artificial. it smells like artificial watermelon with a tinge of cucumber and alcohol.
experience: mediocre. there's no tingling sensation, which isn't a bad thing; tingling does not always mean it's working. i've only used this as a sleeping mask and i get OK results. the product dries on the skin and peels in the morning, taking off the outermost layer of skin with it. i don't really get a glowing complexion from it but my skin does feel more hydrated the next morning.
overall i'm neutral about this product. it's a tad bit pricey and doesn't give me the result i was hoping. i'm also off-put by the vagueness of the description provided by glow recipe. they provide no information regarding the percentage of AHA and simply just has glycolic and lactic acid in the ingredients list.
i suggest getting a sample first before purchasing.
edit: i also want to note that perhaps my results were mediocre since i use AHAs and BHAs regularly so this may have just been too weak of a percentage of AHA for me to notice any results. if you're someone who does not use AHAs and BHAs regularly, then you may get more noticeable results.
