Review for Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer - 3 months, 3 weeks ago

I do enjoy using this primer, I feel it helps with my foundation applying smoothly. However, when I ran out I didn't miss it enough to repurchase. I am giving it five stars because I do feel it was a good product, that it helped smooth my skin, it helped with application, and overall preformed well. However, the impact was not enough for me to want to buy it again. I want to try something else that will preform better with my pores and oil. I think this did a great job, but it isn't really targeting the issues I am most concerned about. It blurs and helps with your makeup lasting longer, it didn't break me out, but I really want something that helps with oil production.

Review for: Paaarty (Nude) more...
So, like many people, I got the Paaarty blush as my birthday gift from Sephora almost a year ago. I have yet to hit pan and this was the only blush I had for a long time. Plus I use it as an eyeshadow sometimes so I get use out of it that way and these things just last forever. I will say the packaging is so freaking terrible. I had such a hard time opening it for some reason and about two weeks into having it I broke the lid trying to open it. I have never broken any of the packaging on any of my other makeup products so I was kind of irritated by that. The formula holds up well over time, you don't get that hard shell on the top and it applies the same a year later as the day I got it. I also like that this is a formula you can build, you don't have a ton of pigment when you first put it on your face so I see this as a stress free blush, as in if you are running late to work you can use this without the fear of putting too much on then frantically trying to blend it out. The color is great and I am pretty happy with this overall.

Review for Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer - 3 months, 3 weeks ago

I got a few samples of this and I was so ready to see the magic take place. I have enlarged pores that makeup settles into no matter what foundation I use so I was all kinds of excited to get this on my face and smooth all of that over. I had enough to try it for a week. I alternated from using it one day and not using anything the next. I checked it in the mirror and could see no difference from when I was wearing it to when I was not. I tried different ways of applying it to see if that would help, spoiler, it did not. I used it for about 7 days all together, trying it in different ways each time, and the end result was that I couldn't tell if I were wearing it or not. Pores still looked large, foundation still collected into them. I even tried three different foundations to see if that would make a difference and nothing. Happy I didn't actually buy it.

Review for: TRANSLUCENT - LEVELS 1-4 more...
I got a delux sample of this forever ago and I was excited to see just how much of a difference this would have from my cheap drug store version. Honestly, I just don't see much of a difference for the price. I would say it sets my makeup well though I still do get oily about 4-5 hours into my work day. I am just not seeing the big benefits for the price difference, though I can say it works just fine. I don't have anything bad to say about it, but I am not sure why people rave about it either.

Review for: 12N Fair Neutral (Fair Skin With Neutral Undertones) more...
So I got this concealer after hearing all the hype around it and I thought this was going to be the best concealer on earth. Sadly, it was not at all what I was looking for. The formula is very heavy and I feel like it is so thick that I should use it to ice a cake. I decided I didn't want to waste it so I was just going to use it on my under eyes and highlight with it, but it is just so thick that it causes creasing it clumps up in weird ways. I don't get the love of this concealer. I refuse to let it go to waste so I have added it in to foundations for fuller coverage, watered it down with face oils, you name it and I have tried it. Just very unhappy with the product and how much work I have to do to make it usable for me. It clings to dry patches, it doesn't set well, if you have a pimple you are trying to cover then it it lifts off and just collects around the edges so you end up highlighting your pimple. I prefer a more natural looking base so I am sure that has a lot to do with my dislike of the product.

Review for: Dark Brown more...
I am very happy with this product and I use it to just fill in here and there. I would say you go through it pretty quickly which would be the only down side. I was kind of shocked with how fast I managed to get through the whole thing and was actually considering going with the brow pot, but I really like the pencil format of this. Super thin and easy to manage. Just puts product right where I want it and it takes me about a minute to do my brows and I am not sure I am willing to switch. I am on my third pencil and every time I think of trying something else I just remember how much I loved the pencil and re-purchase it every time.

Review for Glossier Boy Brow - 6 months, 1 week ago

I finished up my bottle and I was really happy with it. I got a different brow product in a subscription box and it really made me appreciate the boy brow. When I have finished up this other brand I will go straight back to the Boy Brow. Just was easy to use, got my brows to stay where I wanted, I felt like I could just use boy brow and not fill anything in. I have pretty full brows but I got this one spot on my left side where the hairs grow up and it gives me this bald patch because my hairs are growing in the wrong direction, I just used the boy brow to pin those pesky things into place. Very happy with this product. Just simple, easy, and effective.

Review for Glossier. Milky Jelly Cleanser - 6 months, 1 week ago

It is a cleaners that doesn't dry out your skin, but it isn't anything special. It doesn't take off all of your makeup so you would need to do a double cleanse. It is priced pretty well and there is nothing wrong with the product, but I don't see much of a difference between this and other cleansers you can pick up for sensitive skin at the drug store. I was kind of wanting it to do better at taking off makeup and I didn't see any difference in my skin. I just finished my bottle of it and I do not plan to repurchase.

Review for Hourglass Illume Sheer Color Trio In Sunset - 6 months, 1 week ago

Absolutely love this. It just blends so well and you don't get any of those patches where one area is too dark and another area seems not to be grabbing product. This just gives you an even application and you can build up if you need to. I would say it is almost impossible to go over board. Plus the highlight just looks so amazing, just that really wet and natural look, no strip of powder, no strong lines. My favorite in this would have to be the blush though and it is the part I was least excited about. I do have very fair skin so I am not sure how this would do on deeper skin tones but if you do have fair skin and ever think you put on just looks super over the top (even when you use 'light' bronzers) this may be perfect for you because you can sheer it out so well. With powder I put it on and realize it is not going to work but I have to be at work in 30 minutes so I am just trying to blend like crazy and it just gets worse and you have to go over top with more foundation. If you have been there then you know what I mean. With this, even if you thought it was too strong you could go over it with foundation pretty easily because it is a cream, not a powder so it would be easy to correct.
