I am a beauty junkie that loves all things accessories, shoes, chic and modern. In my professional life, I am a full-time event planner and part-time journalist. Disney, Harry Potter and all things LA -- Lakers, Kings, Dodgers and most recently Chargers(although I have been a fan since '94) -- make me smile. I love to travel, cook and am a voracious reader. Welcome to my life!
Palmers is not only the best, but it's the ONLY cocoa butter I will use. It's thicker and more moisturizing than any of the others. I have severely dry skin and it keeps my skin looking beautiful. The best ever.
Best product ever. The older I get the more I love their products. Tried and true. Never fails. Same smell and formula as in the 90s and I'm sure beyond! I get this from Macys, and it's expensive, so go during a good sale.
I don't recall this product working to well, but it did moisturize my skin. If you have oily skin I don't 4ecommend Neutrogena. It will cause you to further break out. Not sure why, maybe it clogs the pores, but this stuff didn't work at all for me.
They do the job and they don't skip in my hands which is great considering cuticles have potential to be very sensitive. They are pretty pricey, I want to say we paid $13 from Target for them, but they've lasted forever with no rust so that's good.
The consistency of the gloss is very thick and completely coats the lips in one pass. I would not recommend piling the gloss on due to the density of the product. It first applies a bit globby, but my natural body heat melted the gloss into a smooth consistency within a minute -- no need to dab. The gloss is especially notable for the length of wear. It lasts for two to three hours without reapplication, and I am a lip-licker. Fussing with my lips doesn't affect this gloss at all. The minty tingle lasts just as long as the color, and I find it to be breath-freshening. My only complaints about the product are situational. The "diamond" shimmer is very apparent and too glossy for day wear, in my opinion. It also doesn't work well with a bare face and would look best with at least some eyeliner and/or mascara to complete the look. The other issue is with the very consistency I was extolling the virtues of before -- it is not kissable.
I love this product and the concept of Mini Vaseline jar but, I wish there was an option for this in a tube. I don't really like having to use my fingers to apply the lip balm sometimes. If it was in a tube it would be much more sanitary.
Love the product and been using it for years. Had a pack recently that smelled expired or perhaps the new type smells this way, unsure exactly, but always has been good for healing and protecting my lips.
Smells amazing. Cleans minor messes. I feel like because it smells so damn good it's not being effective in cleaning. It does not cut through anything so on. Very much so for quick spills or surface cleaning.
