I received the Dermalogica Breakout Clearing Booster complimentary from @influenster, and here’s my thoughts on it: This product is $21 for 1 fl oz of product- which I personally find a little on the pricey side- but if your budget for skincare falls under a midline price range, I feel as though you’d get a decent amount of use for the amount you pay. It’s recommended that you use this serum after using the Blackhead Clearing Fizz Mask, which is from the same Clear Start line of products (see my individual review two posts previous) I definitely feel that these products pair well together, but you could still use the booster on its own and garner the same results. I’ve only used this as a spot treatment so far, and I think that’s the best way to use this product; it’s recommended that you do a patch test before applying the serum over any large areas of skin, which I highly agree with. The product does exactly what it’s supposed to, reducing the size and inflammation of any blemishes overnight. Though, I have found that it leaves the skin surrounding the target area slightly dry afterwards, but it’s nothing crazy. It doesn’t irritate my skin or cause extra redness, which is a relief for someone like me who has relatively sensitive skin. A small amount of product spreads a long way, so I feel as though one bottle would last you at least 2 months, depending on how frequently you use it. There’s no noticeable scent to this product, and it dries down clear within about 10 minutes, leaving your skin slightly tacky. Overall I would definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for something to tackle small areas of acne or you need a daily spot treatment to keep blemishes under control. I believe the price is reasonable, and the performance matches the claims made by Dermalogica. 4.5/5 stars from me! #ClearlyGlowing #contest #complimentary @dermalogica @Influenster #mua #mue #beauty #skincare #facemask
The lip liner works great and is super duper creamy, so you could easily wear it on its own, if you’d like. It works great all over the lips, but by placing it on the very outer edges of your lips, it’ll prevent even the creamiest lipsticks from feathering. It comes as a retractable pencil, so, no sharpening needed. I think it’s priced fairly for the amount of product you get, paired with the fact that the product itself is quite versatile. Overall, I’d highly recommend!
I’ve used both of these products a handful of times now, and I can confidently say that I HIGHLY recommend them. The lipstick, on its own, is a gorgeous pink with light red hues. I’ve found that it turns into a warm red when mixed with the “Very Cherry” lip liner, so I personally prefer to only line the outer edges of the lips to avoid feathering of the lipstick. Each of these products retail for 8$ on Maybellines website, though you can find them for as low as 6$ at places like Walmart or Walgreens. As far as longevity goes, I was weary that this creamy, oil based formula was going to be a biiiig miss for me. As I’m sure you can imagine, it’s SO comfortable on the lips, and incredibly hydrating. I found that this lipstick fades very gracefully, and- if you line your lips- it stays in place just fine without slipping around. It’s not transfer proof by any means, but, the color will stay strong for hours while leaving behind a very flattering stain! I personally found that this lipstick works better not being blotted; the oils soak into your lips naturally during the first hour after the initial application, and this allows the color to really penetrate the skin and leave behind a decent amount of pigment. The lip liner works great and is super duper creamy, so you could easily wear it on its own, if you’d like. It comes as a retractable pencil, so, no sharpening needed. The outer packaging of the lipstick tube is a beautiful, reflective rose gold color, and the rounded shape of the bullet makes staying inside the lines a piece of freaking cake. I have a feeling these two lip products will become staples in my collection, and I’m looking forward to using them more. Overall, I am beyond pleased! 💖
The only shade I’ve tired in this product is “custard”, which is a really pretty light red shade. Though, I had to learn the hard way that statement colors simply should NOT be worn in glossy forms. I may try one of the lighter colors someday, because the product feels fantastic on the lips and it smells like vanilla cake— but it doesn’t last long at all. I’m not sure if it’s worth the money for me, personally.
This stuff is a life saver for my cats, it lasts and stays strong for 4+ months. We’ve tried generic brands before, and they don’t work half as well as these do. I would highly recommend this to any and all cat owners, for kitties of all ages.
Maybe it’s just my cats, but, they absolutely hate beef. They’re obsessed with the turkey version of this food, but the beef and even the fish ones always go untouched. Granted, the are pretty picky. I love friskies soft food, and so do my cats, just not this specific flavor.
I have a cat who’s part Persian, part Manx, and he is such a picky eater. He used to go crazy over soft food, then all of a sudden he just stopped eating it. We tried a bunch of different brands to see what he wanted, and this one stuck. He loooves turkey flavored anything. And not only does he love this, but my other cats do, too. Friskies is an amazing brand!
My favorite color from this collection is “Sail La Vie”. It’s the most beautiful powder blue shade, and it isn’t streaky at all. The polish is fully opaque in 2 coats— I love the size of the brushes in these polishes. They’re just the right width to get right up to your cuticles without making a mess. Also, the price of these blow my mind. Definitely my favorite affordable nail polishes!
I have one of their megalast nail polishes in “Heatwave”, and it’s one of my favorites. It’s opaque in one coat, and it lasts SO long without chipping! Especially when paired with Wet n’ Wilds top coat. Also, there’s a ton of product in the bottle for a really great price. Highly recommend!
