I needed to find a salt free seasoning because my father had been having health issues and had to cut the sodium. I picked up Mrs Dash and it's a great way to use seasoning to make things taste great without the salt.
I love to use cloves during the fall/winter season for drinks mostly: mulled wine and apple cider. Goya Foods have a convenient package of whole cloves I can find at the grocery store and it's a great spice.
I wanted to add protein to my diet and someone recommended protein bars to me. This is one of the many I tried. I hated them. They're extremely chocolatey, and its like eating a dense desert. The dark chocolate is okay but just way too sweet. Not worth the protein with the addition of all that sugar. No thanks.
There have a nice taste and a lot of nuts which is great. What isn't so great is that they're chocked full of sugar with concentrated sugar in the dried fruit and extra sweetener on top of that so for a nice treat yes, but I don't consider these healthy. They're a great sugar boost though.
This is way too sweet. Also Rockstar is an energy drink brand, so far from my mind when I pick a recovery drink. Usually you'll need to recover from the crash of an energy drink, so I'm not going with more sugar for that.
I really like a mix of Aloe Vera and Wheatgrass. It has a great refreshing taste and when you chill it it's even better. What I don't like is the addition of cane sugar. I think it would be a much better and healthier drink without any sweetener so I wish they would make an unsweetened option.
