*waves* hi ya! I'm a creative soul who enjoys expressing myself in a variety of ways. I like long walks on the beach, intimate conversations, and flowers on my birthday....seriously though, I'm easy going and always open to trying something new like a creative project, a recipe, or a crazy idea or adventure (within reason). One of my favorite sayings is "try everything once, and the fun things twice". I hope to apply that here!
My son and I were really excited about this new flavor of Hershey's Kisses. We both agree that they taste good...I mean, they're Hershey's kisses afterall....but, we didn't get a "hot cocoa" taste from them. They tasted like a creamier version of the classic Kisses, a milder chocolate flavor, but not something we'd consider Hot Cocoa. We're not entirely unhappy with this new flavor, but we are a bit bummed.
This is a tried and true product. It does exactly what it says, leaves my skin smooth and silky soft. Comfortable and easy to use, but takes a wee bit more time to rinse off. But with such enjoyable results that's not a bad thing.
I think I remember these being thicker than they are now. I found it difficult to cut them in half, it took very little time to toast them and they lacked the comfort and flavor that I remember from my childhood. I was disappointed.
I like how this easily glides on. I live in the desert so it's been a challenge to find an antiperspirant and deodorant that works well for me. This is my first time purchasing this product and ive only had it a week. So far so good....but summer has just gotten started so we shall see.
Pizza flavored bagels? And a recipe for pizza bagels on the package! Had to try these and we made bagel pizzas too.
The spices on top made these smell sort of like pizza. But, it wasn't enough to result in a finished product that actually tasted like a pizza. My family enjoys trying new things and this adventurous nature doesn't always result in a success and satisfaction. Even with toppings like the recipe called for these fell way short of our expectations.
The unanimous conclusion was a resounding "bleh". We won't purchase this type of bagel again. I did give it 2 stars because the bagel itself has a good texture and taste (the spices on top were not strong enough to affect the taste of the bagel).
We moved into an older apartment and apparently a clogged bathtub/shower drain was included in the rent. We've tried several products....well known big brand names....and they resulted in a very short lived resolution. I finally decided to give this product a try because it was next on the shelf of stuff to try besides calling a plumber.
I followed the instructions (like I did with the products before this one), choosing the "let it sit overnight" option. Flushed the drain with hot water in the morning and I think I heard the glorious song of the Clogged Drain Angels as the water formed a mini whirlpool as it went down the drain!! It's been 2 weeks and the water still drains wonderfully!
The tag says that the product has a "money back guarantee if I fail" and adds "but I won't". Money well spent and I spent less than I did on the other products I tried.
I hadn't even opened the can yet and my cats were sniffing it, rubbing against it, rolling around tapping the container with their paws. Once I opened it, everyone was very pleased with this! Even my 10 year old big guy was rolling around and even eating this catnip (he doesn't often play so this says a lot about Kong naturals catnip). Once they were done, everyone just laid around satisfied and content.
The kitty in the photo is our 10 year old lynx point girl...aptly named Guano Loco.
When we first had Bob Dog join our family, I tried the better brands of dog food but my boy prefers pedigree. After trying to "force" him to accept a pricier, "healthier" brand I gave in and now he's a pedigree dog food dog.
I moved to the high desert of California a year and a half ago. A couple of things I learned is "always have lip balm" and "always have water". I'm a bit ocd so bottled water became a really big deal for me. One problem with this is that we don't always have access to a vehicle to go shopping. I'd end up feeling anxious and freaked out even though there was no immediate danger...I finally decided to pick a water filter after doing some research. I chose PUR because of its statements of filtering so many things out of the tap water. Yeah I was still apprehensive even though bottled water is mostly municipal water (go figure). I am happy to say that this water filter pitcher has eased my concerns and anxiety. The water tastes clean, fresh, and refreshing. It's size and design fits well in our fridge...the spout dispenses REALLY well. It is a bit of a frustration to fill due to the flow of the filter (I need to learn patience) and the spout touches our sink interior (only a real concern if the sink isn't seriously clean). My new mantra is "one less thing to worry about" and this is an awesome fit for this. *sigh of relief*
