Hey! My name is Holly, I’m a 25 year old girl living near Toronto, ON. One of my hobbies has always been photography, so being able to share photos with others on social media platforms such as Instagram and Snapchat has been amazing for me. My biggest passion is travel and adventure, even if it’s just local. I’m also a vegetarian and love trying new plant-based foods and restaurants in and around my city 🌱. Give me a warm cup of tea, a cozy blanket, and a good book, and I'm ready to settle into a relaxing evening at home; or, alternatively, find me out sampling new wines, full glam, and meeting new people! Life's an adventure 💞
First: I’ve tried a few glitter eyeliners before and this one is by far the best. It’s very glittery, full of colour, and easy to get out of the bottle.
I messed around with this a bit while browsing Ulta and decided to add an extra line along my winged liner to see how the application was... Although I can say it’s the best I’ve tried, it isn’t perfect. I understand the need for the applicator to be a brush (to hold onto the glitter), but it made for a bit of a messy application. If you want the glitter to actually stand out as a liner it needs a few coats, and I’m not here for that.
If you’re a MUA, or aspiring MUA, and do cute cut creases and wicked eye looks, this would be great for you! You have more patience in putting a look together than I ever will. But for every day glam girls like me, I think it’s a pass unless someone else is applying it for me.
I received a sample of this a few years ago and, despite never having considered using an eyeshadow primer, decided to give it a go (why not?). I was honestly shocked at how well this works. By the end of the day my eyeshadow always creases - not a lot, but enough that if I wasn’t wearing glasses, I’m sure people would notice. With this product I had zero creasing the handful of times I used it. The application is easy, the primer is smooth, and it’s overall an amazing product. I didn’t purchase it for the sole reason that I can be lazy with makeup application and don’t want to add another step to my routine, but if I had a wedding or special event to go to I would pick this up in a heartbeat!
My cat absolutely loves these. They’re far more nutritious than generic cat treats, and because of their shape they help fight dental disease by removing plaque build up - all of which makes me love them too! (Not to mention the shapes themselves are very cute.)
Don’t use this on your sensitive, acne prone skin! The scrub is far too abrasive and will only cause further damage. A light cleanser and exfoliant can do wonders for the soft skin on your face. This product is best used for rough skin (ie. your feet).
When I saw this as a Weekly Wow at Sephora I was beyond excited. I love matte palettes at the moment and loved the look of the colours in this one. Swatching the palette was disappointing, though. The pigmentation wasn’t there, it was a bit chalky, and I was concerned about the potential for fallout. I didn’t end up purchasing.
This blush has a beautiful finish, is the perfect colour, and applies seamlessly. I love that the blush is buildable; having fair skin, I try to apply blush as light handed as possible, and build on that if needed.
I found this palette while shopping in the States and instantly knew I had to have it! The colours looked gorgeous and I loved the highlighter and blush included. The colours have great pigmentation, the shimmer eyeshadows are perfect, I’ve experienced no fallout, and they blend like a dream! I also love that, because this palette includes a blush and highlighter, it is perfect for travelling.
In the few things I use Dijon mustard with, I usually use a more high end mustard, but once I was in a pinch and picked this up. It certainly has a Dijon taste to it, but nothing like the mustard I usually buy.
These cleansing wipes are great! I needed oil-free wipes after getting lash extensions and these were the first that I saw. I love the grapefruit scent, and how easily I can remove my makeup with just one wipe.
