This cream is superrrr thick! I have never used a cream like this before. I’ve always been a gel cream user. It also has that “old lady cream” smell. Which isn’t horrible, since I put this on at night after the restore serum and the eye repair. So I’m usually going right to bed after applying these creams so I don’t smell it constantly. I don’t know that I would buy this again however, just because it’s very thick. Like I’ve already said but I just don’t like heavy creams like this. I think it’s doing my face well but I just don’t think it’s for me. If they make a gel cream that’s lighter than this I would definitely try it! Otherwise, it does leave my face looking brighter and more firm. So it’s definitely doing what it claims to do.
I use this directly after the restore serum. I only use half a pump on my ring finger and rub it together with my other ring finger then massage it in the corners of my eyes and underneath. Back and forth until I feel like it’s been absorbed. It’s thicker and looks more like a gel cream. It’s not super heavy and it seems to have minimized some of my lines. I don’t have many yet but it’s keeping the ones I do have so far at bay! It’s also reducing the dark circles I normally have as well! Super nice product.
I’ve been using this for a week and a half straight. I put this on my face first after taking my makeup off and cleansing. It has a bit of a smell but nothing over powering. I find it really hydrates my skin and puts a good base down for the next step. I find my skin is a lot less red after the shower now too, I used to have red blotchy cheeks after showering and it seems to have almost gone away now. Which is super amazing!
This is by far the worst mascara I have ever used. I thought it was a cool idea.. the whole mascara and tint in one. But no, it’s a disaster! This goes on your lashes okay, the brush is just a regular mascara brush. After applying you think, okay, this looks nice, not amazing but “it’ll do”. Then you go about your day and if you have long lashes like myself, whenever I blinked the tips of my lashes would touch my eye lids and it would make marks all over the top of my eyes just under my brow bone. THEN, if you apply it to your lower lashes like almost everyone does. It completely rubs off on your under eye making it look like you’ve been crying for days. This is just not a mascara for me. Maybe someone out there can use this without looking like a raccoon but I certainly can’t. I did use it a couple times to really give it a try and I simply cannot do it. After coming home and being mortified knowing I was out and about looking like that. Never again.
If you want full coverage but you’re on a budget, this is your gal! This has as much full coverage as urban decay’s all nighter foundation. It’s very thick and goopy. Goes on well with a beauty blender. Covers literally anything on your face. You won’t have anything peaking through that’s for sure. Works well with powders and setting sprays on stop. Doesn’t separate and although I haven’t truly tried it for the full 24 hours (I don’t normally believe those claims anyway) I have worn it all day and night when I’ve been on the go and the only thing I have to complain about is the oil that comes through in my normal spots after about 8 hours. After blotting though it goes back to looking flawless. Pretty amazing that this is a drugstore foundation!
Didn’t realize this had shimmer in it until@I got it home. Fortunately, not a lot of it shows up on your cheeks. I usually prefer a matte blush but this has really been working for me for a couple months now. Gives you the perfect amount of colour. I find this one not too pink and not too pale either. You can definitely build it up if you want more colour. I normally do if I’m doing some glamm makeup. It’s a cheaper alternative to some other blushes out there!
Colour is good on this, a little more orange than I prefer however. Decent amount of shimmer in the pan but not a lot comes off on your face which I like. Still gives me a nice glow when I need it. What I don’t like is that it’s not packed tight enough almost, so every time I go to use it. A little bit breaks off each time. So then I have a mess of power all over my makeup table. Really annoying. Wouldn’t buy this product again because of this.
I've had my eye on this palette for a while and finally snagged it when it went on sale on Sephora. It's got everything you need! 2 darker highlights on the left (for darker skin tones, I find they're too much for my pale skin) but I do use them when I have a tan on and they're gorgeous! Then the 2 on the right that I find are just perfect for my skin tone. The top right (strobe) is really powdery tho, lots of kickback. It's more of an everyday highlighter. The second one on the right (stunner) is more of a blinding highlighter, especially if you wet your brush with some setting spray! It's amazing. The bottom left (shade) is a cream contour and then the one next to it (sculpt) is a powder contour. I normally use that one every day as well and then when I'm doing a full face of glam makeup i'll use the cream contour and then the powder on top to really carve out my cheek bones. The first 2 highlighters I mentioned I normally use as eye shadows, they really make your eyes pop if you like shimmer on your eyes! It turns out really nice. I just really enjoy this palette, very versatile and it also smells like chocolate like the tartiest pro shadow palette does! So that's a plus too!
Great smell! I use able a 1/4 cup of this (or more depending on how dirty my floors get from the dogs) with some hot water! It bubbles up and I mop my entire house with it. Doesn’t leave streaks and cleans really well! Gets all the dog prints and drool off the floor and leaves my place smelling and looking great!
