I'm very picky when it comes to foundation. I only apply it in my T zone and under eyes, so it has the match my skin color *exactly*. It can't oxidize. It needs to dry completely, no tacky feeling. No or minimal fragrance. I want light coverage, just enough to smooth out my good but slightly aging skin.
I must have tried samples of 30-40 foundations before finding this. I'm porcelain with pink undertones; SF 03 is an exact match, and doesn't change color. I can smooth it on with fingers, 3 minutes later it's completely set. [And did I say it lasts all day?] No scent, and enough coverage to erase 5-10 years of age without looking like makeup. Perfect!
I have heard one needs excellent condition skin or this looks bad. My skin is very good, not perfect, and it looks fine. I don't use a primer.
It won't be perfect for everyone, but it should be on everyone's "Must Try This" list.
This mascara will not give you super long, super full lashes. But that's not what I want. All I want is a product that will darken my lashes, last all day, and not smear or flake. Clump Crusher Waterproof is exactly that.
It gives me a "your lashes but better" look that matches the rest of my minimal makeup look. In the 2 1/2 years I've been using it, I have never seen a single smudge or flake. And it comes off with my normal evening cleanser.
It's not the most dramatic mascara, but it works perfectly for me.
I have a lot of natural color in my cheeks. I also have good skin, so I didn't want to wear heavy foundation to cover my natural blush. I needed a blush to sculpt my color, so it had to match exactly, both in color and skin finish. I never thought I'd find anything, until ...
Stephanie Nicole rated this blush, and this color, very highly. I tested it at my local Sephora, and it's exactly what I was looking for! I apply it, and it blends so well, I can hardly tell where my brush was!
At my age (I'm closer to 60 than 50), despite excellent skin care, I have some fine lines forming around my eyes. I know vitamin C is excellent for aging skin, and C+E+ferulic acid is the gold standard.
Other C products I've tried are sticky or smelly, and I have no idea how long they've sat on the shelf before buying. This is important, as vitamin C has a short life before it goes bad. One expensive product was even tinted orange, so you couldn't tell if it had spoiled,
I ordered my Timeless serum direct from the manufacturer ... it was made less than a week before shipping. The serum is water-clear, so it will be easy to tell when I should replace it. It goes on smoothly, drying completely in a few minutes.
The price is 1/6 of the price of it's nearest competitor ... you can't beat that!
I was interested in P50 based on the glowing reviews by Caroline Hirons & Stephanie Nicole, but I also did my own research. I chose to order a travel size of the newer P50, as I like the formula better — it's more modern, with a variety of acids. I'm also cautious about phenol.
It has a mild vinegar smell which doesn't linger. My skin is not sensitive, and I am used to 10% glycolic, so I had no stinging or tingling. It is definitely working, but I've only had it for 10 days, so the jury is still out.
Price wise, it's not cheap, but it's not expensive on a per ounce basis. I use only a few drops each time, so my travel bottle will last a long time.
