My kids love these applesauce pouches! They have a great variety (our favorites are the strawberry and apple-cinnamon) and they make the perfect snack, whether you're eating at home or are on-the-go. I love that they are mess free - I was tired of all of the crumbs that were being left behind when we'd take snacks in the car, but these don't leave any crumbs. Yea! I'm also a fan of products that can be found at most stores, and these are it. A favorite in our house for sure!Mott's® Applesauce Cinnamon
Love this vodka because it seems to go down a little smoothr than most. It doesn't have that bite that many vodkas have, it's just smooth and delicious. The price point is similar to others, so that isn't ever an issue, and it's made in Texas, so you know it must be good!
My favorite sandwich growing up was mustard and cheese (hey, don't knock it until you've tried it!), and now my daughter's is mayo and cheese. We always have plenty of Kraft singles on hand for both mayo & cheese sandwiches and grilled cheese & tomato soup.
Queso is a go-to appetizer in our house! It's important to have Velveeta and Rotel on hand so you can whip together some queso in a matter of minutes. If I don't have much time to prepare, I dice the Velveeta and then add it along with the drained can of Rotel tomatoes and green chiles to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave until melted together, stirring occasionally. Serve with tortilla chips and warm tortillas. You can also make it in the crockpot, but it takes longer to melt. Enjoy!
Love Amelia Bedelia! She is funny and kind, and just an all-around great character! These were some of my favorite books to use when teaching multiple meaning words to my second and third graders. Students were always engaged and the stories provided for great discussion.
Another favorite snack of mine is wheat thins and hummus. I've even got my kids eating it! It's a snack that I can feel good about them eating. You can't tell the difference between regular and reduced fat, so definitely go for the reduced fat!
Try as I might, I can't give up Diet Coke. With some diet drinks there is a definite aftertaste, but there isn't one with Diet Coke. This probably sounds weird, but one of my favorite things about Diet Coke is that it doesn't stain. Obviously if you spill half a can on your bedspread (I did) it's going to leave a stain, but if you just spill a little on your shirt/pants when you're drinking it, wipe it and it won't leave a noticeable stain. A definite plus! And bonus, it's refreshing and delicious!
One of my favorite snacks is cheese and crackers, and I love using Triscuits. They have just the right amount of crunch. With some foods there is a big difference between the regular and reduced fat, but I can't tell the difference with Triscuits.
