I have this in clear (the brown sugar color) and it's great to prep my lips before lipstick! I recommend it to anyone who wears liquid lipstick, especially drying formulas, or if you just need get rid of uneven flakiness. Such a good value and comes in sleek, yet sturdy, packaging.
Not necessarily an everyday palette because of the bright "Jelly," and the orange browns just won't go with too many looks and outfits. That said, the shadows are pigmented and easy to blend. This palette can create some fun looks! The dark purple-y black color "Jammin" is my least favorite as it has some glitter flecks in it and the color is just not as intense as the others, but as the darkest color in the palette, it's useful to intensify the look or use to line the lashline. I prefer TooFaced's shimmer shades, such as "Peanut Brittle," which is gorgeous. I usually don't like the larger-sized brow bone/base colors in palettes, but these are good and actually different from each other. You've got white ("Extra Creamy"), yellow ("Bananas"), and pink ("Spread the Love") tones. I also own the original Chocolate Bar palette and feel that there isn't really overlap, so go ahead and buy them both!
I have been a regular user of sheet masks for months now, but as I was restocking my Perricone MD skincare I found this mask and had to have it. I love Perricone MD's frosted glass packaging and appreciate that this mask comes with a right-sized scoop/spatula because I hate dipping directly into jar products with my hand. Before applying, put a headband on to keep your hair at bay! Otherwise, very easy to use due to the creamy consistency. This mask does not feel sticky or runny or chunky, so it will stay put. It does have microbeads that burst as you massage the mask into your face, and the product will change from white to brown. The scent is a true and rich cocoa (not artificial and overly sweet). You only need to use it for 5-10 minutes, 2-3 times a week, but I wish I could use it every day! Even my hands felt smoother after applying the mask to my face. **UPDATE I found it way easier to break open the cocoa capsules by using the little scoop to mash the cream on the back of my hand and THEN applying (as opposed to applying then trying to open the capsules). Results are immediate. I'm less confident about long-term benefits, but you're supposed to use it every few days anyway.**
A good meandering experience. Not the best for a quick trip as- for most people- it's a hike to get there and the path winds through the store. I really appreciate their food options and market. I also found their "check inventory" online tool to be helpful and accurate. It helped us prep for our trip to cut down some time. I also discovered a fabric section! I used the fabric for a tablecloth, but it's a sure way to help coordinate your home (pillows, curtains, etc). I haven't even talked about their main product- furniture. It's not the "heirloom furniture" of your parents generation. It's affordable, sleek, and meant to be used for more than just two holidays a year. Putting things together can be a challenge.
My favorite kind of toothbrush as it is designed to address the fact that the tongue and other tissues should be cleaned and maintained. Other than the rubbery tongue brush on the back of the brush head (which is more convenient than having a tongue scraper), there is a rubbery grip on the handle and rubbery parts within the bristles. I find the size and shape of the brush head perfect to reach the molars without discomfort.
Stores can be very messy, but I've only ever encountered helpful salespeople in store. I've found their jeans to cater mostly to larger, curvier bodies; otherwise skinny jean slim fit is the only cut I can wear. However, their prices are good, sales are generous and frequent, and their return policy is easy, so I can't complain if I have to order multiple jeans to find my perfect fit. I also got a few fitted tees for around $0.50 each after Black Friday last year- perfect basics. I also really enjoy their workout gear.
I'm not a fan of the rose-y smell, but I have to say that when I am consistent with washing and toning my skin and then applying my Clarins cream, my skin does not get dry patches. While I can't say it has taken years off of my face or gives me a radiant glow, when I leave this product out of my routine, I can tell the difference in moisture. I've had it for about 6 months now with a few weeks left to go, so one jar will last a decent amount of time. I really only dip a cotton swab in and dab a few dots all over my face and rub it into my face and neck. This hopefully: 1) introduces less bacteria into the jar of cream and 2) prevents me from overapplying. I personally prefer pumps, or better yet- tubes with pumps. The difference between "Just right" and "Way too much" is slight and can feel a little greasy. Plus, you'd have to wipe away (aka waste!) the excess product if you plan on applying primer/makeup overtop. I do like that this product has SPF. I'm searching for a replacement and not sure yet if I'll repurchase.
