This is a complimentary product sent by Influenster but I always write my honest opinion/s about any free products I receive. I have sensitive skin and this really feels good on the skin. Sometimes skincare products with "ultra-calming" effects can cause tingling sensation on the skin and irritation, at least on my skin it does. I use this at night and leave it one for a few hours before applying a night cream or an overnight sleeping mask. This feels more like a serum than a moisturizer but it does have a thin consistency. This product sinks in the skin quickly and provides moisture overnight. This product is a little difficult to dispense (maybe I got a bad one) since it is not squeeze tube and it does not have a pump. Also, this comes with a hefty price tag of $75. I am not saying that it is not a good product, but for me, fortunately, I do not have a lot of skin issues and can use other options such as brands like Clinique for less. Again, if you think this is a skin-changing product for you, then it might be worth it, but not for me.
This is a complimentary product sent by Influenster but I always write my honest opinion/s about any free products I receive. I have normal skin which can tend to be somewhat dry during the cooler months. I apply this product after washing my face in the morning as my moisturizer. The consistency is not necessarily gel-like, it is thinner than most gel products but once applied, it feels like water which makes it easy to apply. The skin absorbs this product quickly. I use this under my makeup or alone. It really does leave the face moisturized, radiant and supple. I like the gray and white packaging with a dash of light lavender color. One of the things I do not like about this product is the scent. It smells like a topical ointment but it does not linger long. Another thing is the price for the amount that you get (1.7 fl oz) especially for a product that you could potentially use on a daily basis if you decide to. You are most likely going to purchase this on a monthly basis - if you are okay with that, then it is worth it.
This does not have a thin consistency as the Sephora and Clinique Liquid Moisturizers but it is comparable. It is a slightly denser liquid compared to the two other brands but it works just the same. The L'Oreal one has a fresh scent to it, nothing too strong and it does not linger very long. It applies nicely on the skin, it feels soothing and moisturizing. This keeps my skin hydrated all day long. I feel like liquid moisturizers tend to provide more hydration on my skin that cream ones, unless they are water-based such as Nature Republic's Aqua Cream or Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Water Gel. It also feels lightweight on the skin and non-greasy.
I apply a thin layer using a Qtip and sheer it out a bit and let it dry. It dries quickly so you do not have to wait very long before going to sleep. There are two things that may happen when you wake up in the morning when you use this product: 1). The breakout is completely gone and/or 2) The breakout is a lot smaller than it was the night before. Now does that mean this product is not effective? Not at all. Keep in mind, this is a treatment solution, not Jesus Christ. Depending on the size of your breakout, it may not disappear altogether the next morning, you get my drift? If you are trying to treat a very bad breakout, what it will do is it will prevent it from spreading and it will reduce its size until its completely healed or dried out.
Fortunately for me, my breakouts are small and limited (one to two here and there) so it eliminates the problem areas pretty quickly.
The product itself was really moisturizing and non-stripping. It took away the rest of my makeup except for waterproof mascara which I had to do a few more times. A couple of things that I really did not like about this product that became deal breakers were the smell and that it was difficult to take off with water. Not worth $20 in my opinion. My NYX Stripped Off Balm works way better than this for $14.99.
This product really makes my face feel clean, healthy, radiant and lifted. It really brings back the elasticity and firmness of the skin after each use. I know these specific Power Ranger themes are limited edition but I definitely want to purchase the regular Glam Glow silver mask. I have both the gold and green mask, as you can see on the photo.
Say what you want to say about the cost of this palette but in my opinion it is worth every penny. I wanted it so bad that I did not purchase any of the supposedly released dupes such as Colourpop's Yes Please palette, Sephora's Pro Palette in Warm or any other warm toned palette produced left and right. The pigmentation of these eyeshadows are amazing and it has a great wear time as well (wore it for 9+ hours and it stayed put). My only recommendation is that you apply your eye makeup first when you are using this palette so it is easy to clean up the fall out. Now I understand the hype of about the quality of Natasha Denona eyeshadows. I definitely recommend it if it fits your budget (save, save, save!) and I will be purchasing another palette from Natasha Denona, hopefully during the November VIB Sale.
The handles are made out of plastic but it has a nice weight to it (similar to my MODA Metallics brush kit - see previous review). The bristles are soft, dense and fluffy. They are similar to the Wet N' Wild Unicorn Highlighting Brush that I own. They pick up powder products easily and applies them evenly on the face without making it look patchy or cakey. I washed these brushes prior to using them for the first time and I did not experience any shedding on the bristles. Like most brushes with white bristles, there will be some light staining from all the makeup products after washing the brushes, but not so much for these brushes.
I like the wand of this mascara, not too big, not to small. It coats all the lashes without clumping. The price point is high for being a drugstore brand but with its claims, in theory (that is if it works for you), it is reasonable. I honestly feel that there is nothing special about this mascara. It does give the lashes some lengthening aspects and it does feel lightweight on the lashes. I cannot say that this has volumized my straight lashes at all. I still prefer my Too Faced Size Queen and Smashbox Full Exposure mascaras. I honestly feel that if you want a drugstore mascara, the Maybelline Falsies and the Lash Sensational performs way better and are far more worth the money.
