I got this for free from Influenster for testing purposes a few months ago and never got around to using it.
I just used it and let me tell ya how darn soft and hydrated my skin is. It also smells like chocolate coffee! I need a whole tub of this stuff. Was definitely a much-needed 3 minute spa day in the shower thanks to Frank body Cacao Coffee Scrub.
I received a small sample of this from L’Oréal and just used it. There was just a little bit and since it’s sugar I could get it all out of the squeeze package. It smells lovely—citrus like and I thought it was going to stain my face orange but it did not, thankfully. The samples came with coupons, so I just took them to Walmart and left them on the shelf for someone else to use.
So I got a little bottles trial sample of this from CeraVe as I’m a heavy user of their tubbed moisturizing cream (the only thing that hydrates my eczema). It says “Hydrating Cleanser for normal to dry skin. Hydrated as it cleanses”.
1.) It does NOT lather. I felt like it was more of a watered-down lotion than a cleanser. 2.) It left my skin feel waxy, which is a heavy no-no for me with anything I use on my skin and hair.
I did exactly as the directions said and still don’t feel as clean compared to when using my regular face wash. I feel as if a lot of the CeraVe products are a hit-or-miss. For me, this one is a miss.
I got a tube of this for $2 on clearance at Walmart! I was in shock that they had such good makeup for so cheap! I just started to wear a full face of makeup here recently and this is a staple in my makeup routine. Plenty of product in the tube for an incredible price and the packaging is convenient and flat enough to fit in my makeup bag and not be too bulky.
This is the first powder I’ve used. I’m 21 and have only done a full face of makeup maybe a handful of times and they were all in early high school. My mom wears the same stuff and recommended it to me. Less than $5 at Walmart. Good price for a good product—my mom had to give me the applicator though.
Review for: Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing, 1 Pound more...
“I feel like Jim Carrey in ‘The Mask!’” -my sister 😂
I bought this one pound tub from Thrive Market for less than $5. I didn’t read reviews online until AFTER I had purchased it and now I’m more excited than ever to use it. Tomorrow is my birthday and tonight I decided to do my first face mask (my sister also tried it). 4 teaspoons of the powder and 2 teaspoons of ACV/ 2 tsp of water made enough mix for two faces.
I used Great Value brand of apple cider vinegar—the smell is bearable. My face didn’t get red like people said it would. I left it on for 10-15 minutes and my sister did 15 mins. I’m excited to use this for a few more days and see if it really helps my skin by tightening it and maybe even clearing it up.
I gave my mom my foundation since I don't wear it. She said the coverage is good, easy to apply, shade match was spot on and wish she could've gotten more because she loves it! The customization of the name and date on the bottle was a really nice touch. I think it's important for companies to make those personal connections.
It does okay. This is the first mascara I've bought since my ex got me UD Perversion for $22 at Sephora. The wand is too short but other than that it does an okay job. It's cheap, too, so it gets what I needed done.
Got it on clearance for $5 at Walmart. Pretty sure someone used it then returned it open but oh well. I've had it for a couple years now and only use it maybe once a month if even that and I'm almost out. I can't tell a difference, I wouldn't buy it again--I'll just use my regular CeraVe Moisturizing Cream.
