I swatches this in Bloomingdales and decided to take one home with me. I thought This color would be perfect for this summer season. I have a dark brown skin tone and this color compliments me very well. I love the creamy application and satin like finish. The price is a bit obnoxious obviously since Chanel is luxury! But is it worth it? I will say, it doesn’t come up short at all. So if you’ve got the extra cash to splurge, this definitely won’t be a disappointing investment!
I’m somewhat a fan of sweet and sour candy. This candy has the perfect balance. It took a bit of work for me to chew at times, but it was nothing obnoxious. When I got this in my voxbox, my family almost ate all of it before I could get a good bit of it! Obviously it was a hit!
Victoria’s Secret is one of the best for affordable bath and body products. I absolutely adore their scents. This particular one has that sweet smell I love. It’s not so candy sweet or floral sweet, but rather a sensual kind of sweet. It’s a lovely scent!
My mom used to us this cleanser religiously. I love to use this on days I’m wearing makeup. It does a great job at Cleansing off all that dirt, oil and makeup out of the pores. That ugly greasy and grimy feeling melts away when I use this.
This does a good job at removing makeup, including waterproof makeup. It’s surprisingly moisturizing, Cleansing my skin without stripping it raw! It’s not a deep cleanser by any means, but it’s a nice first step cleanser.
This is my absolute favorite affordable rosewater! It’s better than the Mario Badescu one; this one is TRUE rosewater. Very simple, made with just two ingredients. It’s a wonderful moisturizer/toner for my oily skin. It’s also doing a great job at healing my acne and fading acne scars.
This isn’t a completely matte or transfer proof lipstick, but the color payoff and smooth application are amazing! It might last you through a few mimosas, but you won’t get through the whole meal with it still in tact. However, if you don’t care too much about having bulletproof lipstick, this is a lovely formula with plenty of beautiful colors suitable for all skin tones.
This is a very lovely and lady like scent. It’s not too strong or sickly. The notes of rose are sweet and subtle, while the vanilla lingers graciously just seconds after spraying on. The scents blend beautifully. This makes a wonderful spring/summer daytime event scent, like an outside wedding or outdoor brunch.
I don’t usually go for expensive moisturizers because many just seem like overpriced versions of drugstore options. However I tried a sample of this and was impressed. I’m not sure if I can commit to paying the price on a regular basis, but this is a splurge item that actually does the job well. The soft, supple and glowy effect it gave my skin left me very impressed. It didn’t exacerbate my oily skin either, which is unfortunately what some moisturizers end up doing for me.
