The only brow product I’ve used for years. The consistency is great-it has amazing staying power, but doesn’t feel to stiff or waxy. I’ve heard people complain about it getting hard or waxy after they’ve had it for a few months, but store it upside down to fix this! That way, the oils that normally sink to the bottom stay spread throughout the jar and keep it moisturized.
Love this set! I picked it up a couple years ago from Nordstrom Rack on a whim and I’m so glad I did. All of the colors are so blendable and feel great on the skin. Camellia has become my holy grail everyday blush. I love that the colors give you a natural looking flush, but are also super buildable if you want a more prominent blush look.
Nope this ain’t it. I purchased the shade 5.5 which looked like it was going to be a perfect match. I liked the amount of coverage this product offered, yet it didn’t feel too cakey when I had it on. Unfortunately, it oxidizes like crazy and turned orange. I ended up reselling it.
The best liquid lip for the price! Especially in a fashion color. This lippie is SO pigmented, I usually can get enough coverage in one coat. The staying power is also really impressive. As an actor, I used this color for a wood nymph role I played, and this lipstick held up to the stage lights and stayed through sweaty choreography. You can’t beat the quality for the price.
I have the shades Purgatory and Trivial in this lipstick. Purgatory is a super pretty dark berry, though I need 2-3 coats to get it truly opaque. Trivial is a super pretty soft nude pink. I can usually get it to perform with just one coat. These lipsticks feel nice on the lips, not super drying, I just wish they had a little more staying power. They’re not bad, but they’re not the best-performing liquid lip I’ve tried.
Review for: Vampira - satin-matte deep reddish burgundy more...
Found the shade Vampira at TJMaxx and decided to give it a go. It was a nice enough shade, and it had a pleasant vanilla-y scent, but it was SO PATCHY. I’ve honestly never reached for this lipstick beyond swatching it. Even though it’s supposed to be a creme lipstick, it also felt super dry on my lips. It tugged so much and I just couldn’t get the color even enough no matter how hard I tried. That, along with Kat VonD’s questionable ethics, has ensured I’ll never be purchasing again.
I received this in a Voxbox, and so far I like it! I do generally try to stay sulfate-free for my hair, but decided to give this a fair shot. Immediately after rinsing it out for the first time, my hair did feel smoother. When it dried, it felt really silky. Overall it’s a good product for a good price, but I’m not sure I’ll repurchase since it’s not sulfate-free.
My favorite lip balm! It’s super moisturizing, and the size is convenient to throw in any sized bag so I can bring it even if I’m just bringing a small clutch. The rosy tint is also nice, as it adds a bit of color without looking out of place if I don’t have makeup on the rest of my face
I love this palette! The metallics are beautiful, the shadows blend amazingly, and there’s relatively little fallout. The only downside to this palette (why I took away a star) is that it’s hard to create an everyday look with just this palette alone. Most of the darker matte shades that I’d put in my crease are significantly darker than the other shades, so that’s the only drawback for me. (I also used En Fuego from the Naked Heat palette in this look)
