I loved this mascara way more than I expected to. I usually hate drugstore brand mascara, sticking only to my 90s cult favourite. First off, the colour is perfect: dark and definitely, but still a natural colour (I always used to reach for Blackest Black mascaras).
The brush is great and does a great job at keeping the lashes separate. I've had no clumping and only ever had a few fibres cling in odd places (between or at the end of lashes) but another swipe generally fixes it. I had very minimal flaking, and it holds up well to water, removing easily with micellar water.
My only complain would be the packaging. I LOVE the 'soft feel' matte tube, as its attractive but also grippy (I wish the wand-cap was too), and the flattened design is unique, but I really hate the 'oversized tube' trend that all high street mascaras do now. Takes up a lot of space and not travel friendly :(
My favourite evening scent. Its a bit musky, with some rich floral notes, so its a rather mature scent -- great for dinners, or more formal occaisions (I've actually worn it to weddings and my uni grad!). Its very wearable and you'll feel like an old Hollywood starlet wearing it
My favourite shower gel ever! It's an amazing scent that's perfect for youth or the more mature: its fruity, floral and sexy. It's not a super light scent, but isn't purfumey: you'll be able to smell it just after the shower but it dissipates quickly. My guy loves it.
It's lovely to lather up with a loofah, but you can also put a small glug into your running bath for some lovely rosey foam.
I hate that is so expensive, so I only ever get it for Christmas, but it's so worth it!
The first facial sunscreen I'm actually happy to wear!
I really hate sunscreen... the texture, thickness, feeling, smell. But this one is so nice.
It's note skinny at all, and has the tiniest bit of tackiness (which I love because I don't feel like my makeup is going to slide right off). The smell is so lovely: it's floral, but not fake whatsoever (it reminds me of honeysuckle, but I could be way off. Haha). Since you have to use a lot of sunscreen on your face (1tsp is recommended!), my only gripe is that I thought it would be thinner (due to the name; while it's a sheer finish, I assumed the formula would be thinner too), but it absorbs really well, leaves a nice velvet-like feel to your skin and feels moisturizing. It feels likely heavy, but by the time I've put on my makeup I don't notice it, so I think it just goes away as it dries.
I love H&M's classic and basic styles. They're easily matched and paired with pieces brought from other stores, allowing you to dress up or dress down an outfit! I visit H&M each time I'm at the mall, so check out what new pieces they have in. Their new home section is also amazing, and timeless!
