This product is a game changer! Instantly after using this, my skin is visibly softer and lighter. I think it also helped with my acne scars. My moisturizers and serums penetrate my skin so much better now! It is definitely worth the price.
It says that it contains pitera essence, which is proven to help with moisturizing, uneven skin tone, etc, but there is no scientific proof to back this up. It is definitely a pleasant essence and it is moisturizing, but I am not sure if I can justify the huge price tag!
My cuticles get out of hand especially in the winter time. I use this after a manicure and it helps my nails to look stronger and also my cuticles to be softer. It has a brush like a nail polish, which makes the application easy.
I recently got the Hydrate + Glow kit from Herbivore, which contains a "mini" size of this face mist. I have not purchased a face mist before this, and I am not sure if I'll purchase one again after. I am not sure if putting on something that dries on your face and takes away the moisture as it evaporates is a good idea. That being said, I think having a face mist helped my serums to be absorbed better and faster. The full size is 32$ on Sephora, so I am not sure if I'll purchase this again, as I don't see any benefits of having this in my routine.
I suffered a lot from cystic acne, and some of it was due to heavy and oil-based moisturizers. Since then, I am sticking to water-based and light moisturizers. But the winters are very harsh where I live, and sometimes the water-based moisturizers come short. Also, when I use resurfacing acid treatments or retinol, my skin starts feeling sensitive. So, I was looking to get a lightweight but also heavy duty moisturizer.
I saw that a lot of people who have similar problems to mine are using Pink Cloud, so I decided to try it, and I purchased the Hydrate and Glow kit from Herbivore (39$ in Sephora), which contains a tiiiiny sample of the Pink Cloud. It has a very soft texture, but it is definitely richer than water-based moisturizers. It absorbs very well and doesn't feel sticky afterwards. Also, it did not break me out after! The full size is now 48$ in Sephora, which is not that bad. I will definitely buy the full size for the winter!
After using the Herbivore Blue Tansy AHA + BHA Resurfacing Clarity Mask , I grabbed the Hydrate + Glow kit from Herbivore, which contains a tiny sample of this mask. Its texture and feeling is a lot like the Blue Tansy mask, but I can't say that it made a huge difference on my skin. I keep using it since I already bought it, but I am not sure if I'd purchase the full size. If you are looking a brightening treatment, I'd definitely recommend the Blue Tansy mask, or the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial from Drunk Elephant.
I got this as a sample from a Sephora purchase. It is a bit like a mud mask, but it warmed up when I started scrubbing. It also has some particles in it to help peeling off the dead skin. I can say that it was definitely refreshing, but I cannot say that it drastically changed my skin. It is neither a full peeling experience nor a mud mask. I am not sure if I'd purchase this if it was not gifted.
I don't know why this product get a lot of hype here! In Sephora, for a long time, it has been sold out, but I managed to get a bottle before it was sold out again. I think this product (together with other exfoliating treatments I have been using), really helped me to get rid of the black heads on my nose.
I purchased this product, because it is slightly acidic, and it helps to prime the skin for exfoliating acid treatments (such as AHA or BHA night serums) or for Vitamin C serums. Both of these work better at low pH. This face wash, basically throws a bit of this acids in the mix to achieve that.
I don't get painful deep cystic acne anymore, so I use this only at night and I go for something a bit milder in the morning. That being said, this product is not drying, and I am sure it would be OK if I used it both in the morning and at night.
I am only taking a star off because of the weird texture. It doesn't melt immediately and I have to rub it for some time.
