Review for Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm - 1 month, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
I'm not a huge fan of lipstick balms, however these are so similar to the Clinique ones, they practically look the same and the formula is the same. They stay on for longer than I expected and they're affordable.

I think they're great if you have chapped lips because the formula doesn't dry your lips out and if teenagers at school want to add a little colour to their lips (without really noticing) this is a great option!

Review for Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick - 1 month, 4 weeks ago

Review for: Penelope Pink, Bitch Perfect, Nude Kate more...
Charlotte's lipsticks are incredibly well thought out, you can tell she's put so much effort into the formula as they are one of the best lipsticks around.

The K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks are different to the others, they have a bit more slip, they're not matte, yet somehow they don't transfer, they don't look really shiny either.

The colours are gorgeous and very complimentary. When you put them next to eachother you don't see that much of a difference until you put them on the lips.

They have a higher price point than most lipsticks but she's a luxury brand. Worth the price, worth the hype.

Review for Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner Pencil - 2 months, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
Review for: Pillow Talk more...
Charlotte's lip liners are the best ones I have ever come across for sure.

They glide in so smoothly, they have a velvet formula yet to me they dry now to matte without making my lips feel like they're matte.

I use pillow talk the most because it's the most universal flattering colour which is literally the shade of your lips, so when you choose to LIP CHEAT (resize your lips) they don't look over obviously overdrawn. Your lips look fuller but they look real!

PROS:

- glides on like a dream
- it doesn't smudge or bleed all over the place
- perfect consistency, isn't too drying but isn't too soft and slidey
- universal shade, mimics your natural lip colour
- great for over lining lips without looking fake
- can be worn on its own or with lipstick

CONS:

-I don't know if it's just me, but mine don't sharpen well because they're soft, I think I may have to purchase her sharpener

Review for Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte's Magic Cream - 2 months, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
This product is so wonderful I feel so healthy, youthful and my skin feels brighter, plumped and tighter when I use it.

At first I was worried to use it because I have oily skin and it's a very thick moisturiser but once you blend it around the face it spreads evenly. And it doesn't make me oily or break me out at all! Which is rare for me, I usually have to use a serum because I get so oily, this works for all skin types!

Your skin feels like a baby's bottom, it's so soft after and I've noticed that my foundation applies better on top of it.

PROS:
- a little goes a long way
- lovely scent
- it has great Ingredients in it
- skin feels so smooth
- great for all skin types even oily skin types
- skin looks brighter, feels more plump and tighter
- used for day and night
- the packaging is fabulous and pretty

CONS:

- it's so expensive and once you use it you don't want to live without it! Make sure you can afford to repurchase

Review for Charlotte Tilbury 'Bar of Gold' Light-Reflecting Highlighter (Limited Edition) - 2 months, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
If I could only choose one gold highlighter in my life it would be this one. No matter how much you put on the face it doesn't look chalky, clumpy or make your pores look worse than they already do.

It's a golden glow which I can't quite explain, as much as it's a pure gold shade, once it's been put on the skin for a while it just sinks into the skin beautifully and leaves you with a blinding yet very youthful, princess Angel glow. It doesn't look fake. You know you've got it on but you don't look like an alien or a greasy hot mess.

I've been using it as eyeshadow lately, I've been adding a bronzer in my crease for definition and then this all over the lids and everyone has complimented me on it.

PROS:
- You can built it up to subtle to blinding
- it blends one with the skin
- it blends beautifully and evenly
- the gold tone will suit every skin colour
- lasts all day
- can be used as eyeshadow
- you get so much you won't ever run out

CONS:

- The packaging isn't that sturdy, it's magnetic but it's just cardboard, I expected it to be plastic/metal
- Hugh price point

Review for Kabuki Ita Brush - Nars - 3 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
Makeup artist? Makeup addict? Wanna splurge? Maybe this is the one for you.

PROS:
- fits nicely in the hand, great to contour your cheek bones, jawline and nose.
- I actually think it's really good for the nose because it's the perfect width.
- wash up easily

CONS:
- Expensive, considering it can only be used for contouring and powders only.
- it's not the softest brush in the world.

I love the brush and I use it on my clients and myself but as I said it's not really a multipurpose brush and for something that expensive, it probably should be. The again it's NARS sometimes you do pay for the name.

Review for Kat Von D Edge Crème Contour Brush - 3 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
I love you Kat, I love you.

PROS:
-blends and buffs product perfectly into the skin. Works well with liquid and creams
- it's dense so it's great for contour
- it's tapered in a way where it fits right on the hollows of your cheeks

CONS:
- it's expensive! I love it and I use it all the time but you definitely don't need to have it to create a beautiful makeup look

Review for REN Pollution Proof Kit - 3 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
I'm giving it a 3/5 because I've only actually tried the Flash Defense Anti- Pollution Mist in the full size bottle.

CONS:
- I love the product, smell and very refreshing
- It protects you from pollution, great if you use public transport like the tube.
- it hydrates the skin before makeup and also it's nice on top of your foundation for touch ups although it's not a makeup setting spray.
- All skin types
- Makes powder products invisible into the skin

CONS:
- expensive for what it is, although it's got good skincare properties, ultimately it's water.
- it's not a must have, you can live without this product.

Review for Invisibobble The Traceless Hair Ring Crystal Clear 3 traceless hair rings - 3 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
These are so awesome, I have long hair and when I sleep I can't stand having my hair down but for the sakes of beauty I did so I wouldn't have to spend ages doing my hair in the morning. Then these babies hit the market:

PROS:
- they don't leave any kinks in your hair, you can straighten your hair, put it in a messy bun over night, take out and it's still straight.
- if you want to put your hair up on a night out but don't want to see the band, its invisible.
- your hair doesn't get tangled.

CONS:
- I've noticed that the bands can get tangled around themselves.
- They are fairly expensive for the amount you get.
- They're invisible so when you lose them they're hard to find in your room.
