I had the big one....and it fell out of my pocket into the snow in Quebec. Had used it once. Heart=broken. I think it was good? The shade did adjust fairly well, and the spoolie was soft. I got mine from Boxycharm, but if It Cosmetics wants to take pity on me and send me another one to give a proper review I'm totally okay with that... sorry, it's just the grief talking.
I was surprised by this product, which I received from Boxycharm. I found it too not at all work on bare but moisturized skin (and my skin isn't oily any more, thanks to Accutane,) and found it smeared and left me looking greasy. However, under makeup I look healthily glowing with minimal pores visible (I have visible nose pores, and a few on my chin). I also love the lavender scent. I don't think I'll repurchase, but I do like it as a alternate.
I received a huge holiday pack of nivea for Christmas. I know it's a big thing in my family- my extremely thick haired grandmother and great aunt, as well as my current aunts all slather it in their hair (and it doesn't get greasy!!! I know!), and my grandmother overall swore by it. When she passed, I remember finding tins of it everywhere in her carehome. This is a really sad review, I know, but I associate it with her. The smell is heavenly- roses, baby, and lavender mixed with lilac. I love how soft it leave my hands, and how fast it blends in. I am looking forward to slathering this on my soul when I head to -50c weather in Quebec in a few weeks time! I hear it will keep me softer than the snow.
This is a super cheap, but overall really good pencil! I like how smooth it is and how well the spoolie blends stuff out, however, the shade range is abysmal, and the head of the product is way too big for my liking. But for $6, it's a total steal. I like it still, despite my own personal drawbacks regarding the pencil.
I love this version of Ruby Woo more than the original. The shade is impeccable, and the texture isn't a dry matte that looks chalky like the real one. I am not a fan of the packaging- I think it makes it look cheap. But the product itself and the adorable brain behind it makes it superb! I would recommend this to anyone!!!
This is excellent in theory- smells good, the product isn't bad, but the pale pink colouring looks awful and very 2001 on pretty much everyone. Also, it's a bit chalky. I wear it on my lips to bed or as a centre highlight shimmer, or as a base. I like it it but wouldn't wear it out on it's own 8/10 times.
An excellent gift to give or to recieve, and it costs so little for what it is! I always love the soap, polish and butter! I don't like or use bar soap, so I use it briefly as a scent omitter in my lingerie drawer! I give it away after to one of my soap loving friends!
I get this stuff every Christmas! It's super strong scented, and very, very fresh smelling! It's hydrating too- at least, it feels hydrating! I like the thickness of it, and how easily it melts in to the skin. I have tried all the scents, but satsuma and british rose are the best by far!
Intimidating to even experienced makeup junkies at first, I was uncertain. I have been doing makeup for over 5 years. But still, I was like, how would I wear them all? Do they all go together? The answer is yes. I live for the pinks and cranberries and the shimmery shades. I love Antique Bronze, Buon Fresco, Primavera, Vermeer and Love Letter the most. I like this palette, as it is hella pigmented and very pretty in both concept and execution, but I do have beef with it. Firstly, the velvet packaging. It gets so ratty and dirty looking....that wasn't smart. I also really dislike how few shimmers there are. I don't like all mattes. I need shimmery shades for the lid and brow bone, and these two aren't cutting it. A dupe for this is the Limecrime Venus Palette- theirs is more red and pink and has much bigger shades (think about an inch in size). I love both though, and I would recommend them to anyone.
