I love these babies so much- they are wildly pigmented, nice smelling, not super smeary or drying, and not overpriced! I own four- Lana, a metallic bronze, Riot, a red brown (ordered it for my bestie- she suspects but doesn't no, so shhhhh), Beet It, a pretty berry, and Red Rose, which is a ruby red which came as a full sized freebie along with a keychain! Limecrime.com has excellent shipping prices for Canadians (I will not spend $20 on shipping, I am sorry. $10 or less or nothing,) and they have great products overall! P.S, the best time to shop is Black Friday/Cyber Monday....I am telling you, Velvetines for as little as $4 CAD. Um, wow. You can get them at UO too- I got my first two at UO on fifth avenue while visitng NY. Online and in some stores. These last almost all day- oily food will take them off a bit. I recommend a balm underneath- before you put your lips on, while you're doing your face, let a balm or a lip mask sink in and then wipe off excess. You get your best results on smooth and soft lips. These are a must try and I can't rave about them enough!
I personally am not a fan of this fragrance- to me, it reminds me of Grade 9 gym class, and the girls who would slather it on after a good run. I am not a fan of it anymore, though I liked it at first. I am able to recognize it from far away quite well now. The scent is long lasting, and a lot of people swear by it. I do find that is smells virtually the same on everyone, which is usually not the case at all with fragrance. I will be passing it along to a friend.
Review for: Homeslice (peachy nude), Rosè (rose nude), Other
After hearing numerous complaints about these, I was wary when Ipsy sent me a mini Rose and Boxycharm sent me a full sized Homeslice. Rose, was bad on me. A girly pink that washed me out. So, I wasn't in love there. Homeslice is a gorgeous warm peachy colour that looks nice on my warm but fair skin. I defintely like that shade. I also have Birthday Suit from Sephora, and I like that one as a light nude. You 100% need a balm underneath, or else you will dry out. I like these, I think they're really nice overall. Would buy again.
I love these little sets when they go on sale! My fave shade is the silver. Or maybe the green. I couldn't tell you, all of them are beautiful! They flatter any skintone (I am a warm toned white-o) and they become super opaque within two coats. The size is decent for the whopping $4 American I spent on it.
I love this blue shade! It is so feminine and sweet, and it takes only two coats for a opaque finish! It's super cute for weddings or day to day. I didn't like the gloss- it is way too light and looks almost clear with a frost. It's quite minty and has a light shimmer. The gloss is super small, and the polish is about half the size of a regular Butter London polish. I am a fan of the brand. I got this for only a couple bucks U.S at Kohls.
I have the most sensitive armpits ever. No, really. Shaving causes me folliticulitus, cysts (Yeah, cysts), ingrown hairs and burning. Imagine putting deoderant and anti perspirant on THAT. Not good. For awhile I stuck to unscented crystal stuff, but tbh it's useless. The lack of contact from this means I can use it even the morning after I shave (I shave at night) with zero irritation! Plus it lasts all day, keeps me smelling fresh and doesn't transfer! This stuff is legit.
I hate to say I like this stuff, because it's basically an uggo sunscreen, but it works well for my combo oily acne skin (most of the time). I don't feel very hydrated, but it keeps acne at bay. Can't do much better. Plus, sunscreen. Yay.
This stuff is a nice dupe for Glossier's cloudpaint in Dusk and Puff. I blend mine with a sili sponge- it doesn't remove any product. This stuff is best applied with fingers or another non absorbant applicator. The pigment isn't bad, and it makes a pretty lip tint as well. The shade I have is called Puff.
