This filter was really simple to install, and doesn’t look out of place in our kitchen. It’s simple to use, I like the look of the filter chamber, and it doesn’t take too much space height wise in my kitchen sink. It makes the water taste “fresher”, though our water already tasted pretty good. I like how it promises to work for up to 3 months on a single filter. This is very user friendly, and is a good solution for people that don’t want to get an in-fridge pitcher or that don’t have a fridge door water dispenser.

With tap water possibly having traces of chemicals and metals, I tried to always avoid drinking from the faucet as old tubes can leach out harmful metals and chemicals into our water. However that all changed when I recently was given an opportunity to try out and review a water faucet filter from the company of PUR. When I first installed the filter system, it was pretty easy to install and it was pretty much plug and play. The filter that goes inside the system was really easy to install as well. What I liked about this filter was that it cleaned 10x more harmful substances than a brita filter that many are using. I also noticed that when drinking from the water, there wasn’t as much chlorine taste that usually tap water has. I also liked how this filter can take out microplastics. There was many studies recently that came out about microplastics being found in our body and it has made me more concerned in the containers that I use and the foods and liquids I consume. I’m glad this filter does filter out microplastics as there are many of it found in our water. Another thing that this filter filters out besides heavy metals and microplastics is industrial chemicals, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals. I know that pharmaceuticals are also found in trace amounts in our water and luckily this filter catches them. Most importantly, by using this filter, it reduces the reliance on bottled water, which ends up saving plastic from being in our environment and also saves us money at the same time. Overall, I feel that this is a good investment as it will save you money on buying bottled water, save the enviornment, and keep you and your family healthy. Just getting a new sink reinstalled so had to take this off again but this was SUPER easy to install and put in myself. Water tastes great and comes out easy and the filter replacement process is super easy!
