This pitcher is a good size, I wind up refilling mine about every day or so because I drink a lot of water. The filter works pretty quickly, the reservoir empties in about ten minutes or less. The directions say that the filters last two months (or eight weeks) but I find that I get about seven out of each one on average. I rinsed a filter after the water started tasting a bit funky and got a bit over a week in more life. It takes a small amount of effort, but is cost effective compared to buying water and is obviously much better for the environment. Personally I find the taste to be better than bottled water, I use the larger Pur lead reduction filters with this pitcher. Easy to clean and the light seems to be pretty accurate on indicating when the filter needs to be changed.

I love pur, I want to upgrade to a faucet one but I keep forgetting to buy one, or at least a bigger/another pitcher. Holds too little for what it's worth. As a product it works great and I can't suggest it enough but get a bigger one if you're going to get one. Mine didn't have a lid though?

This water pitcher has been doing my family well for the last few years. I don’t have to constantly worry about the lead levels in our water intake. The filtration is great at removing unwanted particles also.
