I’m a longtime fan of Lysol and use the Lysol Power line in my bathroom religiously because it just works. My husband picked up this particular cleaner on a shopping run when we were low on supplies. I’m confident it cleans and disinfects—bleach is listed among the ingredients—but, functionally, it smells and behaves as if bleach is the ONLY ingredient. It’s powerful, and not in a good way. I tested it on our glass-door enclosed shower. Even with maximum ventilation—shower door open, bathroom fan on, and the bathroom door open—the fumes were so intense I felt lightheaded, as if I might faint. The bleach odor was overwhelming, burned my eyes, and cut straight through my mask. I always clean with protective gloves and a face mask, and I’ll usually wear goggles only when I’m working overhead where splatter can fall on my face. With this product, I felt I needed goggles just to mitigate the eye-burning while cleaning. If you decide to use it, you’ll need serious airflow: If your bathroom has windows, open them in advance. If you have a box fan, turn it on to push additional air through the room before you start. Despite the likely cleaning power, this formula is way too strong for me. I honestly don’t know if I’ll make it through the bottle and may throw it out. At this point, it might be better to use regular household bleach (with proper dilution and ventilation) than to use this product as-is. Lysol makes many excellent cleaners; this one missed the mark for use in enclosed bathrooms.

This spray is my go-to for tough messes. It leaves surfaces looking fresh and disinfected with very little effort. I like that it has the cleaning power of bleach without being too harsh to use around the house. It works great in the kitchen and bathroom, especially on counters, sinks, and tile. The scent is strong but reassuring — I know everything is truly clean. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a dependable cleaner.

I always make sure to buy this Lysol spray to clean the dirtiest areas of my house. It works to clean my bathtub, toilet, countertops, stovetop and baseboards. This scent and the lemon scent is my favorite so far because I like the smell of fruits. It lasts me months so very well worth the $.
