I found this cutie on sale and I decided to give it a try. I wanted to find a substitute or dupe of Laneige’s sleeping mask. Long story short this is not it. Consistency on this one is more like Vaseline and it smells like it too, with a hint of vanilla. It’s a good occlusive so I use it on top of something hydrating to trap hydration in. But if I use it on its own it dries out pretty quickly without doing much for my lips. Given, this is not labeled as a lip only balm, it is apparently intended to be use in other body parts too, but for me consistency is to thick to make it a good option.

I frequently have dried/chapped lips and while this product is moisturizing, it's similar to lower cost lip balms. As a matter of fact, I prefer lip balms in a tube, as it's more hygienic than applying with finger. But this works wonders on my cubicles. It doesn't feel greasy and softens the area almost immediately. My nails looks healthier and prettier. I was hoping for a more floral scent but can only detect vanilla. It's kind of plain and overdone. Glass jar gives off a luxurious feeling and I love the positive affiliation on the packaging. Might be a bit pricy but something I need during colder months.
