My dog loves peanut butter, and I would usually put a little bit in her kong toy so she can try to lick the peanut butter out. Make sure that you don't feed your dog too much, because it is after-all a treat, and buy reduced fat and sodium peanut butter.
My dog loves this. You can bring it on the road to keep your dog occupied or hand him one when you feel like his teeth need a little cleaning. Of course, don't give your dog multiple greenies in a single day, maybe one every other day, and giving these yummy dental chews to your dog doesn't mean he doesn't need to brush his teeth!
This is by far, the best dog kibble and dog treat brand you'll be able to find. You won't find this brand at your local chain pet store or drugstore, but usually, they'll be stocked at a small pet store. They have a couple different types of kibble: for puppies, adults, chicken, six fish, regional, tundra, etc,and the big bags sell for around $60 (expensive, I know $$$$$). The most important quality about this brand is that they use all natural fresh regional ingredients, no extra water in the kibble, no meat by-products, no sketchy chemicals, and all their meats are de-boned. For sure, you'll know that your dog is healthy and is eating the best dog food out there. This is my dog's favorite kibble, and of course, they'll be a little spoiled when they start eating this.
We first tried buying cow tendons and rawhides to our dog for her to chew on, but she would be able to wear away the whole tendon or rawhide in about a day - one week, so we found an alternative. Deer antlers are perfect for chewing one, moreso than bones (which can get stuck in your dogs digestive system) and raw hides (which are generally unhealthy if your dog eats it). A little more pricey, but your dog will be chewing on this for months, and there are no negative effects to health for doing so.
You don't necessarily need to buy this brand, as I don't, but you just need a lot of pet poo-bag refills for when your dog has a number two when he's out and about.
My dog has a very thick coat and a lot of loose fur, and this furminator (it's like a brush) gets all of those loose hairs out so she doesn't shed all over our house. This doesn't hurt your dogs skin, but my dog doesn't like getting her hair brushed so she's not a big fan of this, but you've got to do what you've got to do to make sure your dog doesn't shed everywhere!
