I’ve been using The Ordinary’s 100% plant-derived Squalane Drops as a step before my moisturizer, and it’s become a simple staple in my routine. It has a lightweight, silky texture that absorbs easily without feeling greasy or heavy. My skin tends to get dry and sensitive, and this helps lock in moisture. Leaving it feeling soft, balanced and hydrated throughout the day. It also layers well with other skincare and doesn’t cause irritation or piling. I like that it’s fragrance-free and minimal—just an easy effective way to add extra moisture and support my skin barrier without over complicating my routine.

This is one of my staples. I’ve never had a skincare product that I love so much. It is so hydrating and smooth. I have never had a problem with it irritating my super sensitive skin, in fact it soothes most of my irritation. A little goes a long way but once it dries there’s no leftover oiliness unless you really lathered it on.

I only need a few drops for my face, neck, and décolleté. It makes my skin feel very soft and well-hydrated.
