Kiddos really liked the vibrant colors. The plastic ends weren't to sharp and where sturdy enough for even young boy to hold without dropping or threat of swallowing. We do wish they had double string since kids here from 7-14 use these floss picks but they do work well. And good for visiting friends who have braces to pick in between all the metal. Over all good buy and keeps kiddos regularly flossing.
