After trying Beachbody Performance Energize for several weeks before my workouts, I can say it’s a solid and beginner-friendly pre-workout supplement, especially if you don’t want something extremely strong. One thing I like is that the formula is simple and not overloaded with stimulants. Each serving contains about 100 mg of caffeine from green tea and coffee bean extracts, along with beta-alanine and quercetin, which are intended to help improve endurance, energy, and workout performance. In practice, the energy boost feels clean and smooth rather than intense. It gives me enough motivation and focus to start my workout without feeling jittery or overstimulated like some stronger pre-workouts. Because the caffeine dose is relatively moderate (roughly similar to a cup of coffee), it’s also less likely to cause a crash afterward. Another positive is the taste and mixability. The powder dissolves easily in water and the fruity flavors are quite refreshing compared to many chalky or overly sweet pre-workouts. However, if you’re used to strong gym supplements, this product might feel a bit mild. The caffeine and beta-alanine amounts are lower than in many hardcore pre-workout formulas, so the performance boost may not feel very powerful for experienced lifters. The price is also somewhat high compared to similar products on the market.

I love this pre-workout. It gives me the energy I need to complete my workout routine without any jitters. It doesn’t make me itchy like other formulas I’ve tried. It dissolves super easy in water and the taste is actually good! Not overpowering. Packaging is wide enough to get the scoop out without sprinkling half the powder onto the counter. I will continue to use this pre-workout!

Love the taste of this pre workouts. Refreshing and the perfect amount of sweetness. Easy to mix with either a frother or spoon. Drink this on the daily for an energy boost for my workouts and it really works. Gets me pumped and ready.
