I am a mom, wife, accountant, and all around busy lady. Quality products and ease of access are important in my every day routines. Dinner time is important and must contain only the best ingredients. Throw in a glass of dry red wine with any dinner conversation and I'm a happy woman, especially if it is my own homemade Cabernet or Brunello.
I love co-washing and have been looking for an affordable cleansing conditioner as most are insanely expensive. Honestly, I typically end up just purchasing a regular conditioner and using it to co-wash and it works just fine. What I liked about this was it had a very light but pleasant scent. I typically love aussie products, but this just didn't do it for me. I'm sure it would work well on anyone with less curly/frizzy hair, but this didn't leave me feeling conditioned. I felt cleansed, just not conditioned. I took a peek at the ingredients and saw a lot of "alcohol" used. Which explains why I didn't feel conditioned. This ingredient list isn't typical of a cleansing conditioner. I wanted to like this. I was really hoping to find an affordable good co-wash, I guess the hunt is still on.
**I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion
First, let me mention that I've always loved Aussie products. Mostly for their affordability and quality. Second, and important note, I received a sample of this for free in exchange of my honest opinion, but I would have found this one way or another and likely ended up purchasing it to try it out just because I like the brand. Finally, let me review:
The scent is much lighter than typical of Aussie brand products, kind of a bummer to me just because I love the scents they use, but totally not a negative in any way shape or form. As for its quality, it seems to be on par with other top brands as far as moisture is concerned. What I did like was that it didn't feel like a paste like most hair masks do. I hate when it feels like you are just sloshing on a tub of paste and then trying to rinse it. This did not happen here. And I'm happy about that. I was hoping for more moisture as I have 3a type curls that are THIRSTY, but it did provide some which was helpful.
Overall, I think this would work great for someone with type 2 curls. I will likely still purchase this just because I liked the feel of the mask vs other brands. It's hard to tackle curls, but this was a decent attempt.
I actually use this to achieve a “wet look”. Something simple I wanted to do in preparation for sun and chlorine to keep an easy style plus pump in as much moisture as possible to protect from the summer elements and activities. This product has worked great to help achieve the simple look so hopefully it helps protect in the summer!
Does the job. It’s hard to use sea salt spray in curly hair as there’s already a ton of texture. I feel the salt dries it out a bit. I found, however, if you combine with a leave in conditioner spray it helps create a ton of texture and moisture plus the curls are much more defined.
Smells great, puts a ton of moisture in my dry curly locks but gentle enough to add some moisture in my toddlers hair to keep his curls from becoming a tangled matted mess. Bonus it has a great smell. This will be our Summer staple.
My go to for parties and large dinners. I always buy a red and a white and Bota Box is always a crowd pleaser. Bonus is the value. My top 3 favorites are the Chardonnay, Cabernet, and Pino Noir. I recommend to everyone.
Great price, awesome taste. If you served this without guests seeing, they would never know it is boxed. It’s my go to for parties and large dinners. I’ve had many boxed wines and this one definitely ranks in the top spot.
My go to. I’m not a vodka drinker, but grey goose is definitely my #1 choice when a vodka drink sparks my interest. Definitely the choice when it comes to a cranberry and vodka. I never realized what all the buzz was until I finally tried it.
Crisp yet refreshing. One of the few vodkas I can drink on the rocks without a mixer. Definitely has a top shelf taste but easy on the wallet. Graduate from the college level stuff to sky for a more sophisticated and enjoyable vodka. And always drink responsibly.
