Review for Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 - 2 weeks, 6 days ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
I think this product does a good job of removing makeup, particularly eye makeup. I really like the all-in-one aspect, especially for a girl on the go. I will say that to remove my eye makeup I still had to run bit. The directions that all you need to do is hold your cleansing pad over your eyes to loosen your makeup and simply wipe off isn't true. Also, I wasn't entirely confident that I didn't need to further cleanse my face after using this product to wipe everything off. But, that's just me.
Review for LUSH Oatfix Fresh Face Mask - 3 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
I pretty much love everything that LUSH makes. When I asked one of the retail people what would be a good mask for dry skin, she pointed me to Oat Fix. From the first moment I used it, my skin was much softer and noticeably less dry. The smell is pretty fantastic, so much so that you almost want to eat it. This mask is definitely something I stock up on whenever I can get to LUSH.

Once you tried Fever Tree tonic water, I've pretty much been unable to drink any other kind. It has the best flavor. The light tonic actually tastes exactly like the regular tonic but with less carbs. I would absolutely recommend Fever Tree. It really brightens up whatever you mix it with. I typically mix with gin or vodka.
Review for McCormick® Mixed Pickling Spice - 3 months ago
If you need a pickling spice in a pinch, this will so ok. There are a lot of whole cloves in the mixture, so whatever you pickle will have a very heavy spice flavor that overpowers all the other aromatics. I wouldn't buy again. Instead, take the extra time to put together your own mixture so you can control the flavor.

Review for Milk Makeup KUSH High Volume Mascara - 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite mascara! My eyelashes are pretty nonexistent, so I REALLY need mascara that plumps and adds volume. This formula does the trick. And I love that the fibers in the formula are super subtle with no fallout. For added length and volume, I do use a primer.

Review for Glossier Balm Dotcom - 6 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This is a great lip balm. The formula is nice and creamy. My lips have a tendency to get super chapped in the dry, Colorado climate. I find this balm very hydrating. And, because it is so creamy, a little bit goes a long way. However, I do wish it was a bit more long lasting. I find that I do constantly have to reapply.

Review for: Uncensored - perfect universal red more...
I'm pretty sure I'll never wear another red lipstick again! It's such a bold, beautiful and vibrant red. And, it looks so great on, like no other red I've used before. It's definitely a matte look, but it's not drying at all. It is like shellac, though! Super long-lasting!

Review for: Pink Cloud more...
I got this sample in my ipsy bag and at first I wasn't too thrilled because, OMG hot pink! However, while the pink is super pink, it's flattering and adds a nice pop of color with tanned skin. I also really liked the "whipped" aspect of the formula. If a lipstick can be soft and fluffy, this it it! And, while it is matte, it's not super drying at all.

Review for Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating 100% Hydrogel Mask - 9 months, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
Unfortunately I didn't love this mask. I didn't find that it hydrated my skin very well. Plus the fact that it irritated my skin. I was red and a bit splotchy afterwards and had a small break-out. Yes, I have sensitive skin, but I always appreciated the fact that Neutrogena was a good brand for sensitive skin. Not this mask. The mask was also a bit strange, coming in two parts -- a top half and a bottom half. Also it had flaps to cover eyes and mouth. I will say that, at the very least, it felt somewhat soothing on, staying nice and cool on my face.
