Review for: Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 fl. oz. [3.4 oz] more...
Like a good wine, I know what I like in a perfume even if I can't explain, in words, the undertones of the scent. I admit I was skeptical about Viva La Juicy and so I was pleasantly surprised when I liked it. Due to sensitivities in the workplace I don't often wear perfume but I found a light spritz goes a long way on the inside of the wrists and behind the ears. The scent of Viva La Juicy is very subtle, not overly sweet or flowery or over-the-top. Great for day-to-day and maybe a little more for a night out. Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum
The original Starburst still rank as the best candy -- for kids and adults alike. Firm but chewy and packed full of flavour, these make a great treat to give out to trick-or-treaters or stash them away for a late-night indulgence. Yum!
The kids want a snack that tastes like a treat and you want to offer them something you'll feel good about. Welch's Fruit Snacks are made with real fruit and are fresh and full of flavour. Plus they are easy to grab and go for snacking on the run. Welch's® Fruit Snacks Mixed Fruit
I will begin by saying that I am a huge Starburst fan so to say I was disappointed by these gummies is an understatement. The lemon flavour tasted like lemon-scented dish soap and the other flavours were no better. Even my teen daughter agreed! I tried one of each flavour and then threw out the rest of the package. Such a let down.
I'm a relative newcomer to steel cut oats and Bob's Red Mill Organic Quick Cooking Steel Cut Oats have become one of my favourites. These oats are so quick and easy to prepare (under a watchful eye) on the stovetop. I've learned the hard way that cooking oats in the microwave, though do-able, often results in an oatmeal eruption of volcanic proportions. You can adjust the water to make them as thick or creamy as you like and with additions like chia seeds, nuts and dried fruit it makes a satisfying breakfast any day of the week. I often make a huge pot and reheat smaller portions throughout the week.
I was apprehensive about ready-made popcorn -- especially "au fromage" but Smartfood makes a great, guilt-free snack with a white cheddar flavour that is not overpowering. (In fact, I'm eating a small bowl of it now!) The popcorn is fresh, airy has the perfect "crunch" factor when you pop it in your mouth.
We are new to Pretzel Crisps and they have quickly become my favourite late-night snack dipped in hummus or guacamole. They are salted *just* enough, light and crispy yet sturdy enough to handle even the thickest dips. Perfect addition to any party menu.
For over 10 years the majority of our kids' clothing has come from Old Navy. Not only that, many pieces have been passed down from one child to another, a testament to the durability of the items. While we have come across the occasional clothing defect, and knowing that some fabrics may shrink after washing, we shop accordingly. The styles are ideally suited to our tastes and the prices are affordable, which is important when shopping for a family of six.
