I hate long wear lip stick because either I end up eating it on everything I bite into (icky) or it feels like I have Elmer's glue on my lips. Ok ranting over, because I have found a cure that feels like I'm not wearing anything and if you remember you are wearing a lippy it's because someone is paying you a compliment. Is this product flawless? No. Sometimes it gets on my teeth (probably my fault), when you take it off you need Chapstick like stat!, but if you want long lasting lip color without fading/constant reapplications give it a try!
I love these little matte sticks they are minty, easy to apply (maybe over line your lips a little & own it), not drying, and varying shades from nude ~what I was wearing~ to vibrant oranges/purples/reds! Has the ease of a Chapstick and the glam of a lipstick! Can't leave home without at least one of these in my purse and they have the ability to be twisted up for more sass!
I bought both the fair(light) & white (corrector) Cover Stick because I liked the ease of a stick applicator instead of having to use a brush or finger. The directions say glide on and goodness does this stick glide. Do not put any pressure on the stick because you will squish it; also on the same note keep the product some place cool because it's plenty soft on its own. Blends out pretty well but not over dry skin (it becomes a clumpy mess) so moisturize first.
Am I mad at this product? No. But am I shocked by its efficacy? Also no. Physicians Formula is another awesome grocery store brand that is hypoallergenic and oil free so those of us "blessed" with oily skin won't feel like an oil slick when we use it, but personally this product seems to take the lack of oil and just substitute a lot of water. Which makes it hard to apply to a warm face. So leave time to "bake" onto the skin and make sure the area is well primed. I think the yellow idea to counteract the dark circles that we all get due to lack of sleep is fantastic but a thicker formula might be necessary, at least for me.
If you are looking for a light waterproof concealer then look no further! NYX is an inexpensive, cruelty free, and offers full coverage without the gross cake face feeling, because although cakes are cute they aren't for the face. I bought two different shades because I can never tell if I am fair or ivory turns out mixing both works for when I've been out in the sun and when the slight glow wears off I'm fair. I think it's worth to buy and mix cause they only offer a hand full of shades and no one is actually ivory colored. ~Be warned though~ although this concealer is waterproof it does not contain a SPF so protect your skin accordingly.
This is such a fun take on blush! Instead of the traditional powder foundation that can lose its luster after a few hours of wear, this blush can be applied in a minimal or more intensive fashion depending both on skin tone and how rouge you want your cheeks to be. I like applying it in a few dots on my cheeks then blending out then applying a little sparkle if that's what the day calls for. As for the lip tint it stays on really well but it's definitely not a vibrant color on me since I have pink lips to begin with but sometimes the subtle pink/red tone is a nice change.
If you're at all like me I am a fluctuating thermostat and it all seems to centralize on my forehead, which makes keeping my makeup on a struggle. Not only does this stuff work it also cools when you put it on which is nice because getting ready can be the hardest part of the day. My roomies love to borrow it before a night out to set their makeup because it works so well and before they were using hairspray which I guess works but is sticky, hurts your skin, and not at all recommended.
I have eyelashes that legitimately stick straight out. No matter how much I curl or curse them they still fight the gorgeous natural curl. So I have accepted my fate. Therefore I do what I can to make them a little bolder without clumping the life out of them. I like this Covergirl product the most because for me it works the best and doesn't leave me with raccoon eyes. It's totally accessible and a good go to for my sad lil lashes.
I have a really bad problem with biting my cuticles luckily I have found a solution which is to keep a bottle of Hempz lotion by my bed and religiously put it on my hands (or any dry spots) before bed. The pump bottle makes this routine so easy and if it's on your nightstand you can't miss it! I haven't broken the habit in times of stress but even my family has noticed that my cuticles are better since my lotion regiment.
I have suffered (had) stretch marks since my early teens and now into my twenties. To say it's disheartening is an understatement. It was my biggest source of insecurity and I thought I was totally alone. Honestly, I was willing to spend any amount of money to make them go away or even just fade. Not saying bio-oil is life changing nor have my stretch marks gone away but I have continued hydrating them and the fading has started which is awesome. Stay positive. Everyone gets stretch marks they are unique.
