I'm a certified, free-lance makeup artist. I started doing makeup because of competitive Irish dancing, and later began doing makeup for my fellow dancers, which then led me to get a certificate for makeup. I have been working with dancers and clients for 3 years now, and have worked on stage, bridal, and regular makeup.
I'm currently still a student, but I accept cases during my leisure time.
This is my go-to everyday product when I'm not feeling like putting on foundation. It's a mousse-esque texture but glides on the face smoothly. I have dry skin and a lpt of dry patches, but this tinted moisturizer doesn't cling on to any of them! It provides pretty good coverage, and can even be build up to medium coverage if applied with a brush. The tube contains 75ml of product--which lasted me nearly 1.5 years before I had to purchase another one. The shade range isn't huge, and thw lighter ones all seem similar except for their undertones. Overall, it's a good product for natural makeup lovers and for day-to-day use. I've purchased me second tube and will continue to purchase more when I empty this bottle.
Review for: MAKE UP FOREVER MASCARA (BLACK 7ML)-AQUA SMOKY EXTRAVAGANT DRAMATIC IMPAET & GRAPHIC, PRECISION ,WATERPROOF , AUTHENTIC 100% FROM PARIS FRANCE more...
This is hands-down my ride-or-die waterproof mascara. I have oily eyelids, so it's hard for mascaras to stay on my lashes all day without leaving black residues on my lower lash line. This is the only mascara that stays on all day for me! It creates both length and volume for my lashes, and it doesn't get clumpy even after the third layer. It's versatile in the sense that one single layer can look pretty natural, but if I want dramatic lashes, all I need to do is apply another one or two layers, and viola, I have it. I like the wand a lot too, it;s easy to apply, and the smaller part of the wand makes it easy to apply mascara onto shorter lashes and the lower lashes. I'm currently using my 4th bottle of this mascara, and will continue to purchase more once I finish using this one.
This has been my go-to foundation since I purchased it when it got released. It's a medium-to-full coverage foundation with a natural finish--not too matte, but not dewy either. It's a pretty hydrating foundation, a bit runny but not watery at all, so it's still applicable with a beauty sponge (which is my preferred method of apply this foundation). It doesn't cling onto my dry patches, and it doesn't lift off during powder application. It does oxidize a little bit, but I don't really have a problem with that since the oxidized color actually suits my skin color well. I'm a NC25, and the color #150 works great on me. I also purchased #190 to mix with my #150 when I get more tanned. I highly recommend this product.
This is the most high-coverage powder I have used. I use it either to add coverage to my liquid foundation or simply as a pwder foundation. It's a bit heavy, so it does seem quite cakey if you go in with a heavy hand or apply too much product on your face. I don't recommend it for under-eye usage.
I received this product from Influenster. I was hesitant to try out this product on my face because when I tested it on my arm, it seemed a bit heavy and oily. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin, and my past experiences with face creams on the heavier and oilier side have resulted in irritation or even breakouts. But, this face cream excelled my expectations! Not only did it hydrate my skin, it also smoothed most of the irritations and redness I had! I put it on right before I went to bed, and I was in awe when I woke up and saw the results. The only reason I took a star away was because it leaves a oily residue, so I can't really use it during the day, even though the description of the product specifically says "apply in the AM and PM". But it works great as a night cream, and it's the best one I've tried. I highly recommend this product and will purchase it myself once I empty this jar.
I've tried every single mask in this 7 Days Mask collection. While I loved all of them, the Tea Tree and Alone ones were my favorites. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin; non of these broke me out, and my skin felt moisturized and plumped after using these masks. The Tea Tree one stood out because after just ONE use (while I was experiencing a really bad breakout), my skin completely cleared up, which has never happened before. I highly recommend checking this line out and giving them a try. Also, CVS carries this line and sells them individually, for $1.99 each. It's a great deal for such a great mask.
I'm not a huge fragrance person, so I love how subtle this body mist is. The scent isn't too strong, but it lasts throughout the day. The bottle is a bit bulky, but it does contain a large amount of product. I'm not great at describing scents, but I'd say it's not too sweet and it's a bit fruity.
This is my favorite foundation buffing brush of all-time. The brush hair is synthetic, and brush hair is dense, so it doesn't absorb the foundation I'm using (AKA less product go to waste!). It's slanted so it hugs my face perfectly. The price is definitely worth it; I've bought three of these because I use them almost every single day.
This brow pencil is versatile in that it can make your brows look really natural but it can also be used for those "Instgram eyebrows" look. It stayed on for a good 9-10 hour. I prefer this over the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil and the Anastasia Brow Definer because this Bobbi Brown one is thinner, which makes it easier to create thin lines that mimics natural brow hair. I took one star off because this is seriously a pricey product. I love this brow pencil, but due to the price, I'd have to think twice before repurchasing it.
